There's no doubt that Homebase has gone downhill. It has had periodic changes of ownership (it used to be owned by Sainsbury's at one point) and this branch has got significantly smaller. It's probably worth trying if you're near it anyway, but B&Q on North Farm is much bigger with a wider range. I'm not sure I understand the point of Homebase in its current form.

Basic and very expensive!!

This store never has what I need regardless of how basic, what they do have is frankly expensive compared to the likes of Wickes or Screwfix.

Still a good store, but not that big now that Lidel have half of the site, so limited selection.
