Review of hastings triple wardrobeordered these back in april, the was an 8 week wait for delivery, but didn't mind waiting for what we thought would quality furniture. How wrong were we! One of the first ones delivered was broken. So rather than take it away we had to store it until the replacement turned up, another 8 weeks. This turned up broken as well. Another 8 week wait with it still in the spare bedroom. The third replacement turned up, not broken. The delivery men started putting it together. Five minutes later one of them told us they couldn't put it together as it appeared that it had already been put together once and disassembled because the wooden dowels were broken off in the fittings. Once again we were left with a broken wardrobe taking up space in the spare room. After phone calls to m and s we ended up agreeing to money off and vouchers and because by this piont we were properly peed off we agreed to keep the last broken one they delivered. I set about repairing/building the wardrobe. I can see why they are sold with the option of the delivery men putting the together. Its so as customers we cannot see the absolutely appalling quality of these things.They are barely fit for purpose. Even the one on display in our local marks and spencer was broken.I wish we'd stuck with our original plan of going to IKEA, at least they know how to put design flat pack furniture. Moral of the story don't buy furniture from marks and spencer just stick with there quality y-fronts

Disappointing, this has gone downhill. Staff seem harassed and food arrived cold and far from its best; some hygiene issues also very concerning (one staff member stacked unwrapped pastries with bare hands having touched her hair and nose!). M&S needs to invest in some decent management and training so staff and customers feel valued and happy to be there.

I was awfully surprise to see no one from the staff at M&S wearing a mask. It felt awkwardly strange to see the majority of the public wearing a mask and trying to protect the others when NO ONE from the M&S team was wearing one. Sadly, I even saw a customer wearing 2 surgical masks because she had an immunosuppressed system but there was no point because she could easily get from the staff at the M&S store. Unfortunately and after almost 2 years people still think of this pandemic as a hoax and they haven't learned anything from it. With cases going up in the area I was expecting more from a company such as MARKS and SPENCER

Store itself is good but needs complete variety in terms of edibles/food as it is a big store. Walking pavement outside the store in the retail is really dirty and sticky. This needs a wash at minimum or up gradation. Staff at M&S can be a bit more cheerful and helpful as it is not a cheap store and they need to exhibit some commitment to justify the higher prices compared to cheaper stores.

My favourite shop. Whatever I want I know I can get it at M&S, whether its clothing or food. I can also rely on the quality being first class.

Sadly my experience of shopping here was soured by the fine imposed by the parking management company. As I spent more than 3 hours on this site I was fined £170.00. Yes, £170.00!. That was because I had coffee with a friend in the M&S cafe, had lunch later with a friend, did my weekly shop, browsed and also browsed Homesense. For the 'pleasure' of helping the shareholders at a time when retail is struggling I paid a huge cost. Do not get caught. Don't bother. Shop elsewhere

M&S is always good but the access to the retail park is a pain. The store could use more food space but it's got a good homeware range too. Staff are always lovely.
