Went to the deli shop for the first time. Birthday treat for cheeses. Fantastic and welcoming staff greeted us as we entered.Service was excellent and the depth of knowledge of the individual cheeses was amazing.Got to speak to the butcher at the same time and understand all that Squerryes estates do to keep produce locally sourced on the farms and minimize the waste to levels and ensure sustainable.Would highly recommend to well worth a visit and supporting the local farmers and estate. As a non drinker would also recommend the wine section. Good range and value for money.Staff 11 out of 10 for the welcoming and friendliness. Will definitely be back and cannot believe i did not go sooner.Looking forward to the farmers markets on Saturdays 09:30 till 2:00pm

If you want to pay cash its not acceptable here not accessible for the elderly the cafe took 15 minutes to even ask our order let alone the attitude and wait for the food I almost thought I was in Central london

A few high quality stalls in a lovely location. Micro greens, butchers, seafood plus great coffee and deli and English wines. All round great place to visit for foodies.

We had great service from the young lady at the cafe - sausage rolls are superb . The lovely lady that served us today inside the farm shop was brilliant, she gave excellent service to us and we were made feel welcome . We bought cheese and some olives . Thank you

Advance Declaration. Review is from a London-based Wholefoods shopper. Your mileage may vary :-PLoved this shop whilst staying nearby on vacation, why?*Range* Covers fresh to chilled to frozen and store cupboard, and you can practically buy most anything you would want to eat for several days from here.Highlights include a splendid range of artisan cheeses, BBQ meat platters, excellent quality frozen ready meals, lots of artisanal chocolate, and delicious looking desserts.*Quality* Many of the products stocked are high welfare if animal / cheese or are Great Taste award winner types. If you are looking for rather special food, this is a great place.*Caveat* Whilst my more mainstream supermarket preferring friends also appreciated the quality of the produce here the prices are higher end, so for some simpler things it is surely more cost effective to shop elsewhere.

Lovely farm shop with great produce. We have been here a couple of times now and can recommend the sausage rolls, toasties and the brownies, all of which were delicious! Would love to go back post lockdown as it looks like they would have a nice little seating area outside to have a coffee.

Nice location with beautiful outdoor seating at the cafe. Farm shop had limited produce although their cheese selection was large. There is no butcher in the shop and meats come prepackaged.

Birthday disappointment ? . Visited yesterday (wednesday) lunchtime after reading all the good reviews. Looked lovely on the website too. What a huge disappointment! No food being served Wednesday or Thursday due to staff shortages - both google and the website do not mention this. ? Was so looking forward to visiting and we drove over half an hour to get there. The shop itself is fairly small and a few tables on grass area outside; pics on website make it seem larger. Didn't even look round shop or buy anything. Too hungry and diappointed. My partner and daughter wanted to treat me as it was my 60th birthday but ended up finding a pub nearby instead . Pls sort out Google and the website! Not that I'll be visiting again though.

Delightful! Super customer serviceThe lady in the shop so friendly and passionate about the local produce they stock. Possibly the best seeded sourdough we have had - tasty and light!Tried the fresh focaccia today and wow!Happy to have found this local gem :)

Visited the café three times in July! Twice for lunch (toasted sandwich/salad) and once for afternoon tea with a flapjack. Really good food served on disposable wooden plates, together with wooden cutlery. Lovely to sit outside with beautiful views and some of the tables have parasols.

I love this deli and cafe and the friendly staff, especially the ever smiling Carl. This was where we went during lockdown, though we used it before and continue to use it after too. Carl was able to source difficult to find food items for us during lockdown. No request was too much for him. It kept me sane being able to pop in and see a friendly face, which I did frequently, to help with covid isolation. The coffee shop or garden cafe is a post lockdown addition. They had a limited offering during lockdown and something slightly different before covid. There is now a lovely seated area overlooking the vineyard, which on a sunny day makes you feel as if you are on holiday. The toasted sandwiches on sour dough bread are particularly good. Also worth trying are the sausage rolls which are made on site by the chef at Squerreys. The portuguese tarts and salted caramel brownies are worth trying, if you want something sweet. If you visit the deli you can purchase the salted caramel brownies in the frozen food section. They make a wonderful rich and gooey pudding and are especially good paired with strawberries and cream (also available from the deli). The 9 generous portions can be halved to make 18 dessert portions. I have purchased them for friends and family, who now visit the deli for them. There is a good cheese and local English wine selection and Carl is very knowledgeable on the produce, if you need advice. I use the deli frequently for fresh fruit and veg too. The seasonal asparagus, and artichokes paired with tastiest hollandaise sauce in the fresh food section, are another treat we enjoy from the deli. We also love the fresh breads (sour dough in particular) and the frozen meals made by the Squerreys chef - the fish pie is very good. It is no surprise that this deli has become a place I shop at often. It has a devoted following in the area and beyond. A wonderful gem of a deli/cafe, in a beautiful setting and benefiting from easy and plentiful parking.

Friendly shop staff with a lovely selection of cheeses, wines, vegetables and other items. Wasabi nuts are highly recommended ! Great coffee and service and a stunning view sitting outside the garden cafe. Will definitely be back.

Lovely location, beautiful views. Awful customer service seemed as though the guy serving had other things going on. Abrupt & rude amongst other observations. Unfortunately I wouldn?t recommend this place to friends/family. We all have our off days but when you are at front of house you need to act professional and put customers at ease and not scaring them off
