This is quite a nice weather spoons, open plan and all on one floor. The toilets are up 2 flights of stairs tho there is wheelchair access. There is no natural light at all which I didn't find appealing during the day. Nice outdoor seating area, which you could eat at. We had the new pizza from the menu, really good and excellent value.

Always good value for the family at a Wetherspoons pub. We particularly love the interior decor of this place; worth popping in for a pint/cup of tea just to see it! Friendly staff and good service.

Great food and decor. Cocktail choice reasonable. Good location and Friendly staff. One down point is that it felt more like a creche than a pub. Kids screaming and running about. More than half the table had children under the age of 10 at 7pm. Separate family area needed.

Clean, reasonably priced and safe. This weatherspoons is in the old cinema and is nicely decorated to reflect this. The menu is varied and lager starts from £2 a pint. Also great is the app which lets you order and pay from your table and they bring your beer to you. The bar staff especially like it when a group order drinks individually using this app as it keeps them fit.

Peter Cushing, a Hammer Films actor renown in the 1960's and 70's for starring in the Hammer Horror franchise often with Christopher Lee. Peter Cushing lived in Whitstable and could be seen painting his watercolours on the sea front. This Wetherspoons has encompass the essence of this old cinema and linked Peter Cushing to it. When you enter from the main street, you will see lots of film memorabilia and a few of Peter's own watercolour paintings. For those architectural buffs this old cinema has some lovely original Art Deco design outside and within. This is a friendly and mixed age public house with a diverse menu including Gluten Free and I would recommend a visit!
