Placed an order Saturday they said delivery Tuesday. Did not turn up. No phone call or anything. No reason why. Called Wednesday morning to chase delivery. No apology at all. Customer service shocking. Hopefully it turns up today but who knows.This is the second time they have let us down.Workmen booked and now have to pay them for a days work when they aren?t doing anything as no materials.

Second time today that I've walked out of here without being served. The people behind the counter are too busy making small talk with their regulars. It's so obviously a case of 'if your face fits '. Terrible customer service. Will definitely not be giving them another chance!

Quality products at competitive prices, The lads are always helpful on the counter especialy Phil in the plumbing dept. The deliveries are always on time and they give you a bell when they are on the way. Highly recommended.

I have had the pleasure with dealing with Ali and James over the last 6 months or so. I have purchased various building products and the service is fantastic, difficult to find in this trade. The price is always very competitive. And far better then BLACKBURN HOWARTH TIMBER- in every aspect. Honestly if you want a great service and value for money look no further. I have had interactions with the delivery drivers, who are very accommodating and willing to help as best as possible. Delivering on time with quality products.You will always get honest advice, often I have gone in asking for something and been told, better to get this or get less!I can not praise howarth timber in Accrington enough in every aspect! I rarely write a review and certainly not this long, but it is well earned! Ali, James and delivery staff a credit to your company!Only one thing I would say, stop dealing with maincor- rip off company and very poor service. I asked maincor to make an amendment to my plan, pretty simple, after spending £900-ripped off..Adrian-at maincor had to think about it, still thinking and no response. And this is only because I amended my order. Anyway underfloor heating many others with competitive prices and same/better then maincor! Avoid maincor!Kind regards.

I understand that due to related situations covid-19, but I ordered decking boards three weeks ago,and all week thay deceives me when I call and ask aboute deliverytoday (29.05.20) they definitely told me they were supposed to bring me my order, today so I waited all day and they didn't bring it. I rate this DIY store very poorly.

They have a man on the gate who asks u what your business is, then u enter see 1 of the yard lads Kyle is a top lad he knows wots wot !! They still have a stock of most things I just got a peace of wood but from wot I saw there seems to b still stuff on the shelves .anyway I can recommend Howarths at church ?
