Previous customer and left due to poor service. Looked at rejoining in the hope that service had improved and I could save a little money. Service remains poor. One member of staff was unprofessional by asking me about aspects of my confidential job. I was advised I would be given sample contact lenses to try and consider which scheme to choose. This didn?t happen and when attempted to complain I felt ignored. I?m going to stick with my local family run opticians and pay slightly more for a complete friendly professional service!

Awful customer experience, the staff do not have the respect to treat customers fairly. I?ve had an awful experience with them, do NOT recommend coming to this place for your eye appointments. It seems like they?re running after our money, making us look pathetic as customers. Avoid at all costs, the manager refuses to listen and ridicules any of our opinions, would avoid going at all.

Had an eye test performed today, very helpful and friendly staff and had plenty of help from Debbie with choosing and having a pair of glasses to fit perfectly. Thanks again!

Sloppy, lazy and unprofessional.I have used this branch before and moved elsewhere for the same reasons. Healthy eyes are crucial. I am required to have annual tests due to a family history of Glaucoma yet the optician here could not get the software required for this part of the test to work and did not rebook the appointment.This time I was looking for a spare pair of spectacles. I found some frames that worked for me that were in a drawer and looked well worn. The price label was incorrect too (£189 which should have been £159). The sales person was clearly only interested in making as much as possible from the sale stating that my prescription showed a requirement for bi focal lenses or single vision and a pair for reading. Not true. I only need glasses for distance. The next sell was for thinner lenses. Throughout, the salesperson was slouched back in their chair in lazy arrogance. I will not be back.

Got my new glasses a few weeks ago, my eye test was so professional. Went in again a few weeks later for minor adjustments was greeted by Debbie what a lovely lady nothing was to much trouble. Thank you all for your wonderful service 5*

I have to say Mr Malik has to be the friendliness optician that I have ever dealt with ,connie the Manager and Mohammed are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble yes the other Asian male the one who always seem to have a cough and the female are just as nice . I travel from Bolton as there service is excellent.If they can help to fix your glasses,clean them etcthen they will assist I have been to there competition and glad to be a customer here . As I say Mr Malik is the best he can explain things how they should be and does not try and rush you at all how it should be .

Went for my eye test two weeks ago im in a wheelchair and was treated with respect they could not do enough for me. I was helped by a lovely young lady who helped me choose two pair of glasses. I went to pick them up yesterday and again fantastic service my glasses were tried on and they adjusted them to my needs.From start to finish the treatment I received was first class and I would highly recommend Vision Express Blackburn.

My husband went to the Blackburn branch for his contact lenses.He stated that the service was poor and some of the staff didn't seem to know what they were doing. Only Kieran and Richard seemed to be 'on the ball'.I went with him to pick the lenses up. The gentleman serving us seemed confused and did not know where the lenses were. He had to ask another member of staff, who showed him where they were.The gentleman took the lenses out of the envelopes and wrote L and R on them to indicate which eyes they are for. Normally contact lenses are different colours to indicate which eye is which, but these are both blue!!Apparently one of them is oval shaped, but I can't see that with my glasses on, so how is my husband is supposed to see that before he has put them in!!We are now going to another Vision Express opticians to get this corrected, as we have no confidence in the Blackburn branch to get this right.

Absolutely disgraceful from the staff I had a appointment at 12.20 and I rang up at 12.10 saying that I will be late by about 5 minutes the lady on the phone said if you can make it before 12.30 we will see you anyway I drove from 5 miles away trying to get to the shop as soon as possible parked up paid car parking fee and went in at exactly 12.27 and I was refused, I?m very very disappointed at the staff, I?ve been going here for over 15 years and whilst the managers/owners are absolutely brilliant I can?t say the same for the staff.

Very professional service from Blackburn branch but special thanks to the lady from the Accrington branch ( in Tesco) was very very helpful to sort out appointment for me. She is a credit to the company.
