Great place for inexpensive regular foods stuff like bread and the likes, other things arnt always cheapest in Heron's, i know as i shop around, but still a friendly place to shop, & we've got two branches so close to each other and both close to me, so i use one or the other, mostly this one on Talbot road. But this weekend I've had to be assertive in my approach to making a point on what i, being one who's done customer courses and attained certificates everytime. So point is when is something misleading in a shop or not. Well i wanted a quick and easy to cook bite to eat for lunch for first time in months so i wanted to buy a pizza, this is where the confusion of possible misleading come into play here, i cant see the very very small print on prizes labels at best of times even with glasses on , which i think is diabolical that shops are allowed to keep using smaller type face for some descriptions because this is the confusing bit, as i say these small prints arnt easy to read so i try working out best as i can to understand them as best as possible, with my learning disabilities thats not quite so easy even for anyone without learning disabilities but wearing glasses. As i came to understand at the time i had read 2 different labels as much as i could to try understand which was best value, 2 sub pizzas in a box , x by 2 or 2 boxes of i think 10 inch pizzas or there about. I chose as i could believe what i thought was better value to buy but time i got to the till i found out it wasn't so i asked for clarification on the matter, i went with who turned out to be the day's manager of the branch, who was friendly and so on, but i did had the idea his mind was more on how busy he was rather than the very important feedback i was trying to give him so i explained the importance, not just whatever, so i showed him coz of the smaller print esp, that some writing on label could indeed be classed as misleading. It said 2 x "four cheese" pizzas for the 10 inch pizzas, er which weren't four cheeses, only the 2 sub style pizzas in box were labelled as for cheeses on actual packaging so of course the manufacturer wernt trying to mislead anyone but i found the label in the freezer that suppose to match the products on sale in shop were indeed misleading in this manner, so i went on to advise him that, "if i knew how to contact trading standards to see what they thought, but dont because some organisations still going back into office after the original lockdown 3 yrs ago now, that i believe they think so too. Now then he did say but thats how they had done the labels for a long time, well weve got 2 problems there one being your company not caring for misleading and why trading standards not stopped this practice by some shops but i actually believe no one has previously complained to trading standards people, so i also said well we dont all look to buy pizzas that much, this i believe being the first time ive bought already made pizzas anywhere in well over a year, so trading standards are not aware of it really, but as someone whos done customer based certificates which includes a small bit of customer care in it too, but also being trained early on in my working life by a well know bowling alley which have a very high standard of customer care in all their staff not just in their own ways of being neither. So of course I like to mention these things time to time if i feel the need to. So food for thought here, change your ways of describing on labels something different than that listed on manufacturer's packaging or maybe be warned that someone may come knocking to put it right if you in your company dont. Just to affirm, no one was rude and he even EVENTUALLY, accepted to now understand what i said but boy, as a manager they really should know these issues already - shouldn't they? Just one more thing here whilst im here, im now frustratingly finding some of you smaller shops wanting to call yourselves as a supermarket as , well lets say misunderstanding the

Great value for what you get. I'd also say I went in there with 1 teenager and 2 babies and there was a guy acting really strange towards us and wouldn't leave us alone. The cashier noticed this and tried to keep us safe until my partner arrived. I really can not thank her enough. She went above and beyond for us. Total amazing survice
