I am at a loss as to how M and S are able to call the 'slither of cake I just paid £3.75p for! It is not, as they describe' a 'slice'. It really is appalling and is the reason I shall not, as a shareholder and once loyal customer, be visiting again. For goodness sake do not be so stingy-you are driving customers away to competitors. The elderly couple next to me said that these so called 'cost cutting' measures are driving customers away. Show some respect to your once loyal followers.

Visited twice recently both times having problems with their cooking facilities. Cafe not that busy and still 15 mins to warm a toastie very poor not the M&S youd expect .

Came here for breakfast during our stay in Blackpool and wanted 'smashed avocado, poached eggs and toast, only to be told they haven't got any avocado. Then I thought, its M and S, surely they have avocados in the supermarket. So afterwards we went looking. Why have them on the menu if you can't walk around the corner to get them for your customers. Wrong! Poached eggs were over cooked and you can't really go wrong with taking smoked salmon out of a packet.

Sadly now the best store left in Blackpool centre. A bit dated, with an overpriced cafe in a dark window less corner. Still seeing the general mess and run down of Blackpool... maybe no windows to look out isn't such a bad idea.

My only criticism is it is in the basement so no windows otherwise excellent ? it stands out against the mundane Blackpool restaurants I had prawn sandwiches and scone plus a bean main course

14.50 on a weekday afternoon,no hot food available,only toasted teacakes.One stressed gentleman serving,making the hot drinks,running after cutlery,crockery etc.One other staff member trying to clear tables.Not much on display mainly the pre packed ice buns.Felt sorry for the guy behind the counter,not good for him to be under that sort of pressure,the queue continued to form,some people putting things back,rather than wait.Have to say though,hats off to him,as he did give you a smile,bless him.

I should have known better having been dissatisfied on previous visits with the poor service. It's so frustrating seeing individuals working hard whilst others are frankly swanning around. Anyway, whilst waiting for my toasties, I'm occupying myself with writing this review. Lunch time becoming tea time. Zzzzzz

Poor customer service 909551770 Food was so so but it was the miserable staff that put me off!! Blonde woman who served us had a miserable attitude and basically couldn't be bothered with customers. Appalling attitude and customer service!!!!!

It was difficult to enter the building as the disabled access at the rear of the building is blocked. It was difficult to find the operational lift as the obvious signs lead you to the blocked off lift.Then it took ages waiting for the one changing room in the menswear department. An old gentleman who had previously suffered a stroke and was therefore very slow changing, was very embarrassed by the queue he had caused, but had no other option. Finally our turn, but with no assistant nearby, and me in a wheelchair unable to help, my husband had to re-join the changing room queue after locating different sizes. Almost gave up!It was probably only the almost WW2 type camaraderie that was developed by the people waiting in the queue, encouraging and critiquing the items people tried on, coming together in a time of crisis etc, that kept us all going, since we were there so long! It took an hour to choose and then pay for one pair of trousers at the single cash desk.Then back to the hunt to find the lift that is really a lift, somewhere at the other end of the floor, so that we could get out.No wonder Marks and Spencers is struggling. Zero customer service. Never again!

Went to M&S cafe for lunch with my daughter and grandchild. First thing we had to do was clear a table, as it was full of used cups an plates. We then ordered the chicken strips in a brioche bun with garlic mayo. It came after a 20 minute wait. When I cut into it i found the chicken was still RAW. My daughters was the same. We complained and although they were apologetic, we ordered something else that we knew wouldn't give use food poisoning. How can the company serve food, like chicken uncooked?? Its disgraceful!! We will never go there again

I needed support to open my Marks and Spencer app. The Lovely assistant Tricia on the lingerie department was extremely helpful and patient. Also pleased with my purchase. So nice to find patient and supportive staff in shops.

My sister went in store to return a few items, she had her arm in a sling following shoulder surgery two weeks ago and she is rather restricted at the moment. A female shop assistant served my sister and she was very unfriendly and unhelpful, she even watched as my sister struggled to get items in her shopping bag using one arm, eventually she managed by using her teeth. This experience and a similar experience a week ago has put us off shopping in M&S in Blackpool who really must improve their staff customer service!
