I recently stayed at the Oasis Guest House in Blackpool and was struck from the minute I booked in by the warmth and friendliness of both Ken and Rob. For the fortnight I was there, nothing was too much trouble. The entire building was spotlessly clean. The free WiFi came in handy when it was too wet to go outside and free snacks were left out for guests, which I thought was a nice touch. Also, the Oasis couldn't have been better placed as it is literally a 2 min walk to the town center and the main train station. I would stay there again and have no problem recommending it to anybody else looking for somewhere to stay with a warm, friendly, family atmosphere.

Good position for access to Blackpool's spots of commercial interest and night culture. Nice outlook. The sea and entertainment venues lie just across across the road.

Well we like to stay here everytime we visit Blackpool. The reason is that ihe Oasis is value for money, the guys who run it have time for their customers.. The rooms are just ideal for that night away. Close to all the loal bars, 2 mins from the sea front. Breakfast is excellant and always served with a smile... carry on the good work guys ?

The guesthouse is well situated on Dickinson Road. You get what you pay for. It was cheap and clean. Front of building is a bit lacklustre and you can see lots of cctv screens through the window. The room was cosy and clean enough. I didn?t really like the fleece bed linen.

Stayed 9th November with friends celebrating his birthday in Blackpool. The hotel is spotless with great location facing Peeka Booze. All the main bars clubs i'e funny girls Ma Kelly's etc all on the same rd an 2mn from train station which is great wen staggering home drunk with pizza not looking 4 a cab or getting drenched in rain as only mins walk away. Their is no private parking but less than a 30 2nd walk was roads with free parking and we always get a spot. I was upgraded 2 a small double from a single which was much appreciated. Thier hotel price is excellent for location plus the owner who greeted us very friendly and helpful. We didn't have breakfast this time but on R last stay it was perfect. Our only regret was their dog wasn't their 2 great us. so hopefully we will see him on our next visit. Thank u OASIS 4 a Gr8 stay hope 2 c u soon Brian Paul Sean xxx

Visited Blackpool for a show at the Tower. The guesthouse is typical of an inviting B&B in this area. An easy walk to central Blackpool & lots of amenities close by. The host was helpful & welcoming. The room was clean & well presented, newly decorated. The en-suite shower room was small & basic. For the price it did the job. Needed a comfortable one night stay which is what we got. If staying longer I?d suggest paying a little more for something bigger.

Stayed a while back and returned for work. Stayed Sunday to Fri and negotiated a great rate. As stated a basic but sound stay on a room only basis... Good value and location, a warm compact room.... A solid budget choice for Blackpool.

Booked via hotels.com and paid £34 for the night. It was a last min booking as we decided to visit blackpool for the night. Prior to arrival i emailed the hotel a few questions and the owner replied very promptly and was very helpful. The owner greeted us on arrival and was very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and the shower was powerful and nice and hot! The bed was comfy enough but the bedding was a little too warm for us with the fleece style quilt cover. I am sure if we had asked he would have changed it. Tip you can park outside the hotel from 8pm till 8am for free.

Stayed for 9 nights and found the oasis a great base for all the attractions and nightlife. The room we had was very clean and had everything we needed with a lovely comfy bed . We stayed in a room at the back of the hotel and it was so quiet (apart from the seagulls ?) we slept very well every night. We were never disturbed by any other noise . The hosts are very nice and friendly and nothing is to much trouble. Rooms are serviced as and when you need you only have to ask. We run a public house and like to have a lie in when away and as breakfast is served from 9am it was perfect for us. The breakfast is absolutely delicious and you can help yourself to juice, coffee and cereals ect before your breakfast arrives. I will definitely be staying at the Oasis again . Thank you for a lovely visit. Julie and David room 6

Myself and wife had a great stay. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. He advised regarding the car parking and provided a voucher so it was only £5 for 24 hours. The guesthouse bedroom was very big and clean. I would highly recommend staying here and we will be 100% staying again.

Checked out this morning from the best 2 night sleep I've had in a while. Paid 85 quid for 2 nights in a huge room that was spotless clean and very modern! Checked in late night and was greeted by Ken (I believe) and Max (you HAVE to meet Max) :) 2 mins walk from the beach, shops, take-out and bars. Will certainly be choosing Oasis for my next visit!
