I have read a few reviews on here and feel some people may have had a bad experience for some reason or other. But we have been quite a few times and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
We have a caravan at Ream Hills Caravan Park down the road and we visit here often.
We also have two dogs and eat outside here on warm sunny days but I am writing as on not so good weather days, we come here and they do a takeaway service which we take back to our caravan and then have a full Sunday lunch/evening meal without all the hassle of making it.
So we can’t recommend it enough. So it is 10/10 for us. Most enjoyable. 👍👍👍 by the way. We have spent the last two Christmas’s here with our families and they were fabulous.

We went after our day at the pleasure beach. The staff were attentive and very friendly. The man serving the food at the carvery point was brilliant with the children about the place and very respectful.
My only issue was that the food was not kept topped up and as we went up for our carvery at about 5pm there was nothing left except scraps. The toilets also seemed neglected. A check every hour would probably be worth putting into place. Other than that the food and the environment was pleasant and friendly.

The carvery is really worth of the money. There are 4 choices of meat, pork beef turkey and gammon, if you are ordering the carvery you can pay extra to get king size ( extra portion ) and pay a little bit more to get soup or ice cream in the end. The ice cream have only one flavour ( vanilla ) but there are 4 choices of sauce. Also the serve bottomless drinks. they also have a nice environment and staff are really nice.

It was okay, I guess but I ate very little - a couple of slices of bacon, a fried egg, beans and mushrooms.
We only went for breakfast but thought we could have the 4 for £20 offer however were advised it has to be 2 adults and 2 kids. A bit weird when there's a "kids eat free" listing too! That made no sense at all.
We ended up on the All You Can Eat breakfast menu but I'm not a fan of cooked breakfast at all.
Strange to find Yorkshire Pudding and a dish of gravy on the all you can eat breakfast menu.
Disappointed with the pancakes for a couple of reasons: those awful small, thick ones which had been left to sit under the hot lights and had gone dry and crispy - then to find no sugar or lemon to put on them. Chocolate sauce or Lemon sauce, que?
Won't be going back.

DRY FOOD AND BAD SERVICE FROM THE LAD WHO SERVES FOOD - NOT A PATCH ON OTHER TOBY CARVERIES. Visited in the day time a couple of days ago with my family as we were staying at the Marton Mere Haven Site nearby. We were greeted by a man who looked like a manager and he was polite and professional. Unfortunately when I went to get my carvery I was there for about 10 minutes before the young lad who serves the food came out after being shouted by a waitress who noticed me waiting. The service from this lad was disappointing as when I said I would like a Yorkshire pudding putting on after everything else he said "I HOPE YOUR NOT JUST GOING TO PUT YOUR HAND IN THERE AFTER AND TAKE ONE BECAUSE I WILL HAVE TO THROW THEM ALL IN THE BIN IF YOU TOUCH THEM." I had no intention of placing my hand into a bowl where other people would be taking food from. If he knew anything about customer service he would have been happy to place a Yorkshire pudding on top of my dinner once I had placed everything on my plate as this is a reasonable request, or they could have just placed some tongues next to the Yorkshire puddings for me to serve myself as I am sure that being an adult I would be quite competent to serve myself a Yorkshire pudding without 'contaminating' the food! Another issue was that the lights and heat on the food were set far too high and this dried everything out. The result was dry, crispy meat and I had to dig to the bottom of the bowls of veg to find moist food. The heat was so high that the meat was crisp and bubbling on top closest to the lights rather than just having the temperature being maintained. The waitress was polite and good at her job, but there appeared to be what looked like a female manager walking around with face like she just didn't want to be there. The interior was dull and looked tired. All in all I do not believe that this Toby Carvery is a patch on others I have visited.
