We stayed for 2 nights as a get away for my birthday 12th &13th November. Not far from the train station, The hotel itself is clean & welcoming. The cafe is beautiful & cosy. Room was clean fresh & the bed was really comfy. Our room we could see the top of the tower which was a nice experience. All the staff were lovely, Glenda on the breakfast shifts really stood out too us, a bubbly, kind lady always smiling and happy to help exactly what you need when staying away from home. Thank you for making us feel welcome South Shore.

Stayed two nights here. The staff very friendly and welcoming. Emma the manager was helpful regarding the parking issue that we had. If going there, please see reception re parking when booking in, then don't make the same mistake like us of paying first.Food & drinks: Breakfast was unlimited and very good value

Loved the stay at this travel lodge the staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was good, and the room was clean and tidy. They did have a fan in the room but maybe air-conditioning would be better suited for the warm nights. The cars racing up and down the road are a pain especially when you have to shut the window and suffer the heat, hence the air conditioning comment!Other than that I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others too.

Not a bab hotel the room seemed clean but did have an odd smell not sure what that was.Our room overlooked the road where the stadium was and there was a manhole cover which made a lot of noise when it was run over and that's not mentioning the weird couple arguing at 2amI would recommend for a shiet period out of the season like we didParking is £6 for 24hrs and you have to call or use the app and the car park is okay and it has cameras so that's a winnerRooms: Okay but weird smell?Walkability: Close to the promenadeFood & drinks: We didn't try the food at the hotel but it's close to restaurants

Got taken for my birthday. Directly over the road from Blackpool Football Club.Parking was hampered by having to install a parking app on my phone (Ring-Go) but once I hooked onto the hotel WiFi, it was easy. You even get a discount using the hotel QR code. £6.40 for 24 hours. The room was nice and clean and the bed was so comfy.Your a 10 minute walk from the front which was nice.Food & drinks: Nice bar with food as well

Sorry but the room was very clean and modern but no bath mat so you are stepping on to a wet floor. No tumbler in the bathroom, no glasses anywhere and the hot water wasn't hot. On arrival I thought it was misty outside till I realised the windows were filthy. On the plus side the beds were very comfortable and the reception staff were very helpful

Amazing value and great staff. There were huge staff issues when we arrived but luckily for us Tash was on duty. This lady was reception, bar and kitchen. A skeleton staff delivered with a smile. I have no idea how they did it.Safety: Bar area needs policing

The hotel is in a very good location with great parking £6.40 for 24 hours - but make sure you use the code from reception.Unfortunately the room was very stuffy and hot, the ventilation wasn?t great and windows only opened 5cm for safety reasons, the noise level was extremely high due to oncoming traffic from the main road.We could hear the next rooms alarm going off at 8am and conversations late at night, we didn?t get a good night sleep due to children screaming / crying late at night next door and wind was hitting the windows very loud due to bad weather conditions!I would avoid it next time I?m in Blackpool.

Not sure if the reviews at 5 are correct.Arrival at hotel was through a cloud of cigarette smoke? the hotel have placed two large ash trays at the entrance which is an enclosed space automated doors allow the smoke to fill up reception and dining area. Smokers should be allowed to enjoy a cigarette. And the non smokers should be able to enter a hotel smoke free. That is not possible at this hotel with its current setup.Blackpool was busy during our stay air show weekend ( fabulous air show and atmosphere well done Blackpool) visiting in august room was uncomfortable temperature fan provided noise from fan windows opened about 2 inches more noise from traffic plus loose manhole lid clunk clunk clunk ever car that passed and it is a busy road traffic light junction .. the customers made lots of noise various children screaming crying adults arguing others singing loud. Running around banging doors. Heat external noise and unruly customers are not the fault of travelodge however sleep deprivation is not what going on holiday is all about. The queue for breakfast was avoidable don?t allow over booking the capacity at breakfast ? this is the problem that impacted on the experience in the dining too. The facility is not suitable for a fully booked up hotel. Parking is payable by an app good price however not very user friendly. Location was good for us. Unfortunately would not return to this hotel again. Blackpool was amazing ?

No issues with service, staff were great and location is fab. However, the rooms were horrendously hot with no ventilation as windows opened about 5cm. We had the worst nights sleep - can't be helped but would avoid if you hate humidity / warm rooms. We were sweating and dreaded returning to the room after spending the day out.

Nice hotel, clean and staff very friendly. Booked breakfast for the days we stayed and couldn't fault it, very good value as kids eat free. The staff was constantly topping up the food and it was very clean. Would definitely recommend and it's not far from the beach and the south train station.

Stayed here for a weekend with family. Rooms were standard Travelodge - you know what to expect. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and it seemed good value. The room is quite small though and quickly filled up. We were there as soon as breakfast started and there was soon a queue for others who arrived down not long after us. The big issue for the hotel is its location - it isn't particularly well placed for anything apart from the football club - which it is right opposite. It is quite a walk to the Pleasure Beach, and the main attractions were a good 30 minutes walk along the prom, or through not the nicest area of Blackpool. So, nothing particularly impressive or terrible about the hotel itself, but its location let it down.
