Bought 3 x 5L of mixed paint. Looked awful when I opened it, nothing like the swatch (which wasn't there fault I suppose) So I called the Chorley store and they just wasn't interested at all. So thats £140 down the drain and now the 3 for 2 offer has finished. They could have offered something, as a gesture of goodwill a discount or something but weren't interested or helpful at all. Ah well its off to homebase to buy some more!

They are an absolute disgrace with their customers. This isn't the first incidence we have had with b&q in Chorley before. Recently when I was 8 months pregnant I was buying some adhesive spray for my babies wallpaper art. I got asked for my ID as it was obviously a product to be sold over the age of 18 I'm 22. I showed my ID and got it turned down because it says "check 25"! If the manager of such a company knew basic guildines they would know you only have to be 18 but check their ID if they look under 25.My partner age 23 goes in today to buy an axe saw for our connifers ID him , absolutely rude the way he got spoken to. I just think it really needs looking at because it puts anyone off buying anything if your under the age of 25 unfortunately Wickes it is.

Staff walking off after seeing customer going to click and collect desk. No help what so ever first and last time at this branch ?

Looks a bit neglected. Asked for materials off raised storage location but couldn?t have them as fork lift broken and no staff to use it any way.

As you would expect, it had everything you needed for home improvements and DIY. I bought some paint for the bathroom and was very reasonably priced. Everything well laid out in the store and the staff are a friendly bunch.

Like any other B&Q in terms of shop layout and articles, but I found the staff extremely polite and professional on the 2 times I've been there.

Not all the facilities of the bigger stores but most things are stocked and very helpful staff. Paint matching is excellent.

Local store, friendly staff, well stocked, plenty parking, everything you'd expect from a B&Q. Prices have gone up a little but then again so has everything these days. A good selection of plants and remarkably quiet for a bank holiday Saturday.

Great store for the handyman, partner and trade specialist. Not enough variety of paint rollers or Makita power tools.Better stock and variety than wickes. Nice to touch and see tools instead of over the counter or on line?..

Good for most generic DIY jobs. Helpful staff but now self service tills can be confounding. ??

Somewhat small B&Q compared to many somewhat close. Last time I asked for a product they didn't even have any, know when they'd have it back and didn't offer any alternatives or advice. Some staff are lack luster, I'd go here only due to proximity but others are preferred.
