Would not go again took 4 visits 2 eye tests both with differrnt results and over 4 weeks to get the right glasses was not a good level of service

The best customer experience I have ever had, special praise to Simon the assistant manager whose customer skills are outstanding. This branch is an example of how to treat a customer, other companies I have dealt with including Mercedes, M&S, Saga could learn from the staff here.

I give Specsavers a 5 star rating.Because I've been looked after by staff and management from the moment I popped in to see if they could fix my glasses as the screw had broken in the frame, I needed new frames because they were not repairable. The management and staff help me through the process because I have underlined health issues from old glasses to new glasses. A big thank you.

Specsavers STEAL your property.Visited the shop to ask to buy a spare set of small silicone perferated domes for heaing aids as spares as I fly away for 2 weeks, Removed the hearing to show them which type and important I get the same ones as they fit and are comfatable having used these for 3.5 years no problem. They took the aids away to inspect them and after a long wait came back with totally different ones on. I only wanted the same as I had been using. I thanked them and said I would try them, but could I please have the other old ones back as we are flying within 36 hrs if the ones they had fitted and I had never seen before begin to irritate my ears I could revert to the ones I had been using for 3.5 years. They refused to give them back saying they where the wrong ones, yet the previous day my partner had gone in to buy the spare ones, was given two different sive big ones which I knew straight away would be uncomfatable. I did try them, terrible, (both sizes) so my partner said I would be better going myself. We all know what its like 36-48 hrs before you fly, you are running around, packing sorting things out. But I asked work could I leave and nip down to quickly pick up the correct ones, THINKING THIS WOULD TAKE 10 MINUTES. I was in the shop near 25 minutes which is annoying, but was given FOC some different size perforated caps, great if they work. But also would be better to give me back my others 'just' in case. they refused again, I explained again, flying in next 36 hours and I would prefer to have MY origonal ones back I came in with.so I said you are STEALING my property, The girl said it was not my property or their property, they belonged to the NHS and no they would not give them back to me. So I raised my voice a little so everyone in the shop could hear and said your are stealing my property. I had actually bought the old ones as spares, they where my property. Obviouls little Hitlers not listing to me and my parking time was about to over run, so I got up and walked out the shop fuming. I will settle for this very bad review going on Google for others to read, DON'T hand in your aids if you go into this shop, they may steal them from you. Terrible and just not interested when I explained 3 or 4 times I had worn these for 3.5 years with no problems. I am not about to take legal action, as I can buy the excact same ones of Ebay for £5.00for 12-off but they may not arrive before I fly. Thieves and obstructive, Zelots.
