Won?t buy from here again, very rude owner. I thought he had an attitude when he spoke to me, until I heard how he spoke to the young man behind me, wow !!!\\n\\nWe?ve had similar situation to a previous review when we were notified our order had arrived, to be told it hadn?t been ordered when we went to collect it. Although frustrating (as it happened twice), I could live with that.\\nBut the attitude from the owner today was it for me.\\n\\nHowever I have to say the young staff that work there have been nothing but helpful, polite and professional. And the young lady that served me today is a credit to the shop, she handled the unnecessary drama caused by the owner calmly, professionally and with a smile on her face.\\nThank you for listening to me when I explained why I didn?t have my receipt, (a genuine reason that wasn?t actually our fault) but the owner wouldn?t listen and was adamant , no receipt code no order! (not word for word, but that?s the short version of his response)\\nAs the young lady calmly explained your code is on the text they send you to say your order is ready. So no problem at all and certainly no need to stress at the customer, and certainly not at at a school age boy when his mum had asked him to call in to collect it. Poor lad, humiliated in front of a full shop of customers.\\nSo wouldn?t recommend, and as he?s so busy and doesn?t value customer care I don?t think he?ll be too bothered ??

Not the best experience to be honest, very rude in fact too, not only ourselves but to others in the store. Also out of stock. You'd think this store and the other one would make sure they have tons of stick available. It's not as though it's a surprise that kids go back to school at the beginning of September.

Rude older staff. I ordered and paid for shirts and was told they would be in days later so went to pick them up only to find they had not even been ordered so they had to order the shirts. I was again told to come back days later to collect but they had not arrived so I was told to come back yet again. I went a 3rd time to pick up the shirts only to be told \\\"we're closed for dinner\\\" and then the door closed in my face !! Dinner closure is not mentioned on the opening times.The shirts still hadn't arrived so in the end they had to be delivered to my home. Shocking customer service.

Called in to get uniform for my daughter. Told the time I was gonna come. When I reached there at 13.35, they said they open at 2 as they were closed for lunch(sign on the door said they were open). I said ok, I'll wait outside and come back at 2. A man came and put a paper note saying- open at 2.15- I asked- do I have to wait till 2 or 2.15? He said- \\\" we get 30 min break for lunch\\\" slammed his car boot and the door of the store at me. My experience and suggestion- please give the staff adequate breaks so that they remain happy and cheerful, and put appropriate signage for opening hours ?\\n\\nJust read the other reviews- the rudeness seems like a recurring theme.

Awful. Ordered blazer 5 weeks ago(first week of holidays). Was told that it would be in 2 days later. Queued outside 5 days later for an hour to be rudely spoken to by owner as I couldn't find my order number. Was then told the blazer wasn't in but would be a week. Left it 3 weeks as we were away and rang to check it was in. The owner was again very rude on the phone so I asked for a refund so I could go elsewhere. He told me to come to the shop for it. Arrived at the shop an hour before closing and it was closed with staff still in. The owner was leaving and I told him was here for my refund but they were closed. He told me to go inside as there were staff in there. The older woman looked at me like dirt when i walked in and said who said you could come in? She was very rude and abrupt. I told her this and I was here for a refund as we had been messed around for weeks and she told the other girl to give me my refund and get out! I've put up with this awful shop for years as we are limited for choice for my sons school.everytime it's the same story, its not in, there is a problem with with supplier, it'll be here in so many days. Surely in the 6 week holidays they should be geared up. The shop was closed all day the Friday before schools go back in.Go elsewhere they do nothing but lie and are thoroughly awful

First time at this place ,lovely coffee ,we had a biscuit which was i think home made very nice . Looks like i am always having cake and biscuits.

Ordered informs online as requested, pay for delivery items missing when delivered, then when I have chased missing items promised to deliver inform that evening, still not delivered will have to chase again tomorrow.

Bought an item of school uniform and at the time asked if I could return it if it didn?t fit, I was told by the lovely female shop assists that I could return it ( I didn?t take my daughter with me to try the item as I was unsure if you could use the changing rooms due to current covid restrictions ) the skirt didn?t quite fit her and was too long so I returned it back to the shop ( within 2 weeks of purchase) to be told by a very rude elderly man that I could only get a credit note and not a refund ! I explained that I had asked about this at the time of purchase but he pointed out his returns policy ( small writing pinned to the wall behind the door, how could I have possibly missed it ! )\\nI understand that they are trying to run a business in very difficult times but the rudeness of this man is astounding! he obviously has some anger issues as it?s a common theme in quite a few of the reviews! He even slammed the door when I left !

Just gone in the shop, very rude man approached saying we shouldn't be walking up the Isle to the schoolwear. We were just following YOUR ARROWS on the floor and you had no barrier across telling us not to. The other customer with NO mask on in the shop was OK though ?? no need to be rude ???

Poor customer service, was not a stock item so was told be there for collection the following afternoon, drove there to find it had not come in.. no phone call to tell me, was told be another day, took me to call them to find out after all they can't get it, waste of 2 days ð??«
