  Bought a fitting for a bathroom plastic pipe. I was charged £10 including a couple of tap washers. Just seen the same fitting minus washers in a store in Blackburn for £1.99. Doubt we'll visit plumb base again any time soon

  They quoted me a price and I asked them to check it several times each time they said it was correct I asked them to confirm it was correct by email they said yes it was correct.when the item final came in after a very long wait the original quote was totally ignored and they said it was wrong price .Job was started customer bathroom ripped out . they offered a full refund after it was fitted which they knew .If you need small item in stock its difficult for them to get it wrong .if you need a bathroom suite or parts ordered keep well away .£6 million pounds profit they made last yearI can see why .refuse to refund and customer service none existentWhy should I take a loss because of your mistake I just charge the customer the cost of the item as per quote supplied by you .Reporting to trading standards .
