Visited the pub, we tried the new lamb and chicken dishes that were both excellent. The service was brilliant, a lovely experience all round. Thank you.

The setting is beautiful and the service we received was good. We might have bought a couple more drinks if they?d been a little more attentive but the server was lovely. The bill was over £300 for 7 of us but the meal for me was mediocre. I tried a new meal called chicken mojo rojo and it wasn?t very good. Effectively it was a small plate of bland chicken with a bit of onion and very dry potatoes. I was asked for feedback and was honest but was told it would be passed on later.

2nd Visit for Sunday Lunch for 6 friends. The place is beautiful with a great blend of new and old. Our sunday roast was fabulous and I can strongly recomend the French Onion Soup to start... The attention to detail and staff service with a smile was superb. Nothing is too much trouble.

We enjoyed a lovely romantic meal in this beautifully decorated, interior designed former pub. The staff were excellent - polite, friendly, attentive and helpful - everything you want from the service at a restaurant and bar. The food was good and we were very grateful for a special anniversary truffle from the chef. The only reason I've rated it down a star is because I found the drinks to be very pricey, particularly the wines, and the menu was relatively ordinary. It's certainly a classy place and we had a lovely night overall.

We came for a Sunday lunch/dinner for my partners birthday. We visited a few months prior and sat in the back pub area. The restaurant and location itself are absolutely beautiful and finished to a high standard. The service is good and attentive. Unfortunately, our visit was let down by the standard of food. £22 for a Sunday dinner better be on the top end of Sunday dinners and unfortunately it was not the case. The roast potatoes are simply not very good at all. The veg was minimal and tasteless. The beef (which was nice enough) was cut poorly and there was very little of it and everything came out luke warm. I genuinely would not return for a Sunday dinner based on yesterday?s visit. I did feed this back to the staff who were apologetic enough and advised they would let the kitchen know. I haven?t had any of the other food so can?t comment. Shame as it really is a beautiful place with a lovely atmosphere.

We went to the refurbed Horns inn when it was first re-opened and was disappointed. This visit was much improved, the organisation was better as was the service. The food was much improved and the menu offered far better choice.

We went out on a very frosty evening but the bar was lovely and warm with wonderful fires burning. We were greeted by a wonderful young man called Dan who was very attentive without hovering over our table. The food was excellent and no one could find fault with anything. Reasonable prices for the quality of food and service will be going back !!
