I do like this post office. However it says that it closes on Saturday at 12:30 but in my experience (at least 3 times) is shuts at midday - so if you are going Saturday go well before midday.

Considering the scale of closures of local amenities such as high street bank branches, having a reliable local post office branch is an invaluable asset for the community. The Glebe street post office is staffed by friendly people who are always a pleasure to deal with, & I don't have any hesitation in giving a 5 star Google rating for the service you'll receive there!

The local post office in Great Harwood remains a fantastic asset. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, always greeting me with a smile. Whether purchasing stamps, sending parcels or doing everyday banking, the service is prompt and professional. I highly recommend this post office to everyone in Great Harwood. It's a true gem in our community!

Fantastic asset to our community! Not just somewhere to do your post. They're full of really useful information especially on driving license and passport applications. If you need help with any forms I recommend calling in and asking them. The lady who works there is so lovely too, really brightens my day. As a local councillor it's really important to me that our residents are well served and can get everything they need on their doorsteps. Brilliant!

Use this post office alot on Saturdays, but visited last night after checking it was open till 17.30 (confirmed on here) only to find that it shuts at 17.00 as per hand written hours posted on door. Really frustrating that on line information is not up to date :(

Very rude and unprofessional staff, lying about a parcel being delivered there saying it didn't turn up when I have proof they refused to accept it even though this store is listed online as offering this service. A lesson in customer service and telling the truth would serve you well.
