Normally very good and the staff are lovely but they don't update the app and so I have looked on line and it says open but after a long walk I have arrived to find that the post office is closed...very frustrating..I suggest that you actually ring before you go especially if the weather bad .

Don't go in before 10am. I've been twice a few months apart to be told they are in a meeting.

Post office and Mccoll's shop are together so you can get bits of shopping as well as use post office till later. You can stop on the road outside of it. Shop has most of the items that you would look for in the local shop. I usually stop by when I am on my brake to pick up a drink or a snack. And when I am in a rush this the post office I go to because local post office has cards and stationary but there is usually a bit of the wait and opening hours are shorter.

I was disappointed and upset with the attitude of the manager Yvonne today. She was couldn't read the postcode on the letter I had to post, I acknowledged it was difficult to read and apologised. I told her what I thought it was she tried it & said it was wrong. I then said I would goggle it & try to find the correct postcode however I wasn't sure I could do it because I didn't have my glasses with me. I was holding up a customer, so she asked me to move in order to serve him which was fine. However she could see I was struggling and instead of saying she would try to help me once she had finished serving she just ignored me. I had to drive home to check the postcode to discover it was the one I had read out to her, so it had been correct all along. When I came back the young lady Stacey who served me was very helpful. I was sending a ticket back for a gig I was unable to attend due to my father passing away. I realise she was unaware of this but she could have been more helpful.

Went here when I was 16 and refused to cash out a £1 winning scratch card because I didn't have ID to prove I'm 16. What kind of person that age has ID on them?
