Extremely rude using the chat function to check if opening times differed between shop & post office as they are in the same building & I wanted to check before driving the hour to Lancaster. Not great people skills & extremely sarcastic - would be better to employ people who are actually nice to others asking simple questions.

Absolutely uselss. Went in for a standard drivers license renewal and still managed to mess it up leaving me without a drivers license. Avoid this post office. Useless

Staff member reluctant to assist with DVLA documents almost as though it is an inconvenience to do the job. Now I have to return on a different day to the smaller office in Stonewell.

Poor customer service. My wife and I traveled all the way from Birmingham to Lancaster to withdraw her BRP and the lady at the counter said it was not available. We insisted several time for her to check again as my wife's BRP was supposed to be there already. After checking with the Home Office, they confirmed the BRP was there at the time we went to pick it up. The lady was not helpful at all and made us loose a lot of money. I wish I could give them 0 stars

Poor customer service. Went in to ask for an envelope and they couldn't give me an envelope. He told me to go downstairs. Wasn't helpful.

Incompetent assistant. incorrect weight on two parcels either scales or assistant require calibration. Did not insure 1 package for the correct amount when told value of item. Occasionally close early Sunday at short notice before 15:00, resulting in wasted journey. Requires committed staff with professional attitude.

I did not encounter any rude staff when I visited but I would still avoid this post office if possible, or you have to be super alert and supervise the staff in every step they do.I asked to send one parcel tracked and two Others untracked. the young girl at the counter seemed to understand and did her job quickly, when in fact she was not paying attention to what I said and charged me a whopping 38 pounds with everything tracked. When I realized this she had already stuck the printed postage labels on the parcels, it was too late to cancel and rewind.The parcels were less than 200 grams each and Up to this point I still doubt if I should be charged that much.The lady at stonewell post office (close to st nics) was much more attentive and friendly. I sent my fourth Christmas present there untracked with less than 7 poundsPs. As to respond to the post office response, i did not ask the staff to correct things because if I ask for a reversal, my packages would probably be ruined as I am dealing with a staff who is dreaming at work. I?m not sure how she plans to correct those labels, by tearing or just sticking new ones on top? I don?t want to take any risk again or teach her how to do things, as she?s supposed to be the pro between us. How do you teach/ talk to someone who seems to understand you yet did 2 of the 3 parcels wrong? Any attempt seems futile.Sorry if i sounded distrusting as she didn?t really seem to be reliable, plus there was a long queue behind me at that point. A supervisor would be good to save the day but there was no one behind her then, her colleague was busy too.I would prefer if everyone just get their senses together and do their job without needing the customer to supervise. But yes next time if that happens again by all means I will yell out for amendment, thank you for reminding.

Personally I would give this place 0 stars if I had the option, the staff look unhappy to be there and I found them very unhelpful and unapproachable. I would?ve loved to have met Simon, he sounds like a great guy and had this place under control.

Truly the most awful customer service, I went to renew driving license and the rude cashier said they don?t do them there and if I had a problem then I need to write to the post office. No alternative help offered. And refused to speak after that. I wish you could give a 0 star rating. Absolutely vile women.
