“A good store with friendly, helpful staff. Clean and tidy. I tend to find that stock can be either quite low or have no stock in various products. Sell by dates are short, often the next day or two, as such frequent visits are needed to buy fresh produce. It's no longer possible to buy a full weeks shopping! The main car park, which is shared and public, is away from the store, not ideal for disabled people in particular. Often queues form of cars waiting for McDonald's drive through, which slows down access to Lidl as it is single lane only. It is a bonus having this supermarket in a small town and in time it would be good to see it relocate onto its own land and not share land and car park with other stores.”

“I've always shopped in Iceland. Although I do like the store, some of the staff are not that friendly. It almost makes you feel that they don't want you there.”

“Amazing staff and considering this isn't a "BIG" supermarket it stocks so much. Member prices are well worth £1 for the meal deals. The staff clearly care about it looking nice and I wouldn't go anywhere else.”

“Nice little gem of a shop, a big variety of different choice products available for customers, nice clean tidy shop well presented and layed out making it easy for shoppers to navigate, most of the staff who work there are cheery, welcoming and they are willing to help and are accomodating to your needs (except for a few misreble as sin type members of staff who look like they would be quite capable of biting your face uf you used the wrong tone of voice at the wrong time of day, unfortunately they give off the persona that they'd rather anywhere else in the world than be stuck serving a customer at a job they seem to be appreciative to have, i suppose you get that type of staff member in all walks of life so don't let the fact she may look as tho shes an angry aggressive person ready to take a bite out of your face put you off, she probably only barks and looks like she'd bite) fingers crossed she snaps out of her bad mood come Christmas time, it's only eight months away from now so there is hope hahaha. Apart from that lil hiccup.... It's a really good shop to have locally and we are lucky to have the pleasure of using it.Thanks to all the non-bitting members of staff for your continued service. It's really appreciated.”

“I'd like to thank Ian for his fantastic customer service just now in my local Tesco store 😊 It's priceless being offered help and it's never expected - I asked on the off chance for sparkling water as it is understandably sold out on the shop floor in this heatwave.. Ian went out of his way to check a new delivery in the back for me and with a big smile! Made my day. What a lovely guy. I hope Tesco look after him! We're very lucky here in Clayton le woods as this particular branch (Pendle Road) has had some lovely staff members over the years. You are very appreciated! Many thanks”
