incompetent people, I've had problems before with them too. today I made an appointment with the manager and he said he had a conference. there is absolutely no good customer service here and no willingness to help the customer. I'm disappointed, I've never seen anything like this in a bank before.

Rode on my bike to this bank only to find it was closed because they had temporarily transferred staff to other banks. Tried to use the cash machine only to see that to was out of order. Is this really Lloyds definition of good service because it?s not mine !

Absolutely ridiculous the hoops the bank makes you jump through to add your name to a bank account. I went in with 10 different documents with my name and address and it was still not enough. I had a utility bill with a change of name because they don't send out paper bills anymore and that was STILL not enough. Had a DBS check with my name on it, a bill from the NHS, loads of documents from the home office, my solicitors letters, literally everything and I still couldn't get it done. There is no reason that it should be this difficult. So long as it's an official letter with my name on it, that should suffice. I am very upset that I wasted my time. The person on the phone said the documents I had would suffice. Found the branch wouldn't accommodate in the slightest even though I clearly live at the address as every letter had my name and address on it. Lloyds, do better.

I came into the bank recently to open an account for my teenage daughter, we had started the application the night before online but needed to bring in proof of ID. The lady who dealt with us was absolutely fantastic, she went above and beyond to help my us, she set up the whole online banking procedure, app etc. Unfortunately I didn't get her name, but well done Lloyd's, so nice for someone to actually spend time with you.
