Had a lovely meal gammon was so tasty and tender hunters chicken fabulous the staff and landlord so polite and helpful always go as never had a bad meal there

Happy to find this pub when visiting Leyland. Great atmosphere, music volume was perfect to have lunch and be able to speak with others. Great for families. Impressive amount of food with good quality.
The Stag is located on the site of the oldest pub in Leyland which was called The Stag, the pub has had previous names of The Roebuck and Withy Arms. The pub is ideally located near the old Leyland cross with ample free car parking available on the big Tesco car park which is only seconds walking distance away.
