Funeral reception, the buffet was the worst buffet I've ever seen. No idea the cost, but it was worth £5 per head.

Large family weekend break, toddlers and adult's.I found this hotel brilliant.Good food and great breakfast. Staff attentive and friendly. On arranging this weekend break over the phone , I felt valued as a customer. Every process was easy and we will be back as a large group. Next time I will enjoy more of what this hotel can offer that I didn?t use.The weekend was in half term, there was plenty of children and the hotel really did keep them occupied. Thank you Hotel , your staff are a credit and asset to you.

Nice place staff friendly spaceous but not a spa or resturant more like a holiday hotel busy with children. It was more like a pontins site. The restaurant eating area was dated with wooden basic seating. The price needs to be cheaper for the families using it. Looks tired, dated lacking maintenace and repair. The main driveway to the reception needs relaying full of holes not repaired.Rooms: Nice spacious but dated need refurbishment

The decor needs updating. This was more than made up for by excellent staff, good cooked breakfast (though I don't recommend the porridge) and clean rooms. The hotel is almost on the beach, with good views from front facing rooms. My room had a veranda facing onto an internal atrium, which would have been good if the light had worked.

Went to check out the swimming pool and membership prices. Facilities looked good, staff helpful. Sadly can't pay for individual swim or membership for pool only. Would need to go for a swim three times a week to get my money's worth. Not sure I want to commit to that long term but I've not completely ruled it out. For guests staying in the hotel (from the little I saw) it seemed to provide well.

Really enjoyed our 2 day break at the Dalmeny Hotel. Our second visit this year. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. The breakfasts are brilliant. Great position near the pier and not too far from either Lytham or Blackpool.

My sister and I have been visiting the Dalmeny Hotel since we were children as it gave the whole family a real vacation. My sister now takes her children and grandchildren. I have been in Australia for the past 15 yrs and am over for my birthday and Christmas. My beautiful sister thought it would be nice to stay here for my birthday as a suprise treat. The Dalmeny Hotel did not disappoint. Well organised entertainment for both children and adults, excellent food and service with friendly, polite staff. Rooms perfectly maintained by a curtious, friendly team. It was emotional at times being down memory lane, but as I said, it was not a disappointment and new, very happy memories have been made. Thank you!!!

I was at a Roots of Life Wellbeing Festival at the Dalmeny doing some of my Quantum Activation treatments. The views were incredible and the hotel had a lovely welcoming vibe to it.

5 of us all ladies of a certain age have just enjoyed a 2 day spa break at the Dalmeny. No complaints at all. For the price for bed, breakfast and evening meal plus the use of the swimming pool, jacuzzi and saunas I can't fault it. Both the evening meal and the breakfast were superb. The staff, every one of them, couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Our room, for myself and my sister, looked like it was a family room with a double and two single beds, large bathroom with double wash basins, a bath and a separate shower. The toilet was across from the bathroom. We also had a small outside sitting area with table and chairs. There were quite a few very well behaved children in the hotel. It had a very good cross section of ages from children right through to pensioners and plenty of facilities to suit all. Also, plenty of comfortable seating areas near reception plus tables and chairs in the bar where you can order a variety of drinks and food. We shall be back. X
