My family has been at this dentist for over 13 years. The last few years I feel there has been a steady decline in the service. The place may have had a face-lift but I'd rather receive customer care over fancy fittings. It feel like the main priority is just farming people through the system for a quick £. I don't doubt there are some genuine dentists here, that care, but overall the place just feels like the general ethos is to provide the bare minimum treatment.

They wanted my 10 year old daughter to wait 6 months to have a filling so we had to pay for another private dentist to do the treatment the same week.

Lie through their teeth (pun intended)Apart from the wonderful Mr.Wade, who has now sadly left, this is an awful dentists.I have had dreadful experiences here over the years, including them extracting the wrong tooth & then denying it!I didn't visit for 4 years. 2 being affected by Covid & 2 for my own health issues. I contacted them for a referral to the community special needs dentist. I was assured that they did not remove you from their Nhs list unless you hadn't been for 5 years. The receptionist relayed my problem, which included agonising toothache, to 1 of the dentists. There was no response so I rang back 3 days later to be told he was still deciding what to do as I hadn't been for a while. 1 week & a day later I had still heard nothing so emailed the practice manager, asking if it was usual protocol to leave someone in pain for this long with no action taken. They then rang me back next day to say they could not help me as I hadn't been for 4 years so could no longer treat me as an NHS patient! I told them I was told their policy was 5 years but they just said that was what Mr. Kenyon had decided & that was that. These people are strangers to the truth & have zero compassion. Avoid avoid.

*Edit*Changing my rating as I?ve now been prescribed antibiotics from a different care provider. Two days following the extraction of both teeth I had a huge amount of fluid and infection draining out of the extraction site. Turns out it was a really nasty infection that an extraction alone wouldn?t resolve as it had spread. Dentist at the time said that the extraction would be the solution and I wouldn?t need any antibiotics despite the infection. The wound left behind is huge and jagged, and a portion of my jaw (about 2cms) is totally exposed.I?ve been told by another dentist that the procedure should have been treated as a complex extraction.Infection now is so deep and the wound is so large I?m now on strong antibiotics and morphine, and still cannot eat almost a week on.Gutted at how unwell I still am, and that I could have possibly avoided such a rough recovery if the extent of the infection had been spotted in the first instance. But I do want to reiterate that the reception staff were amazing and so helpful, and very kind to me when they saw I was upset after the appointment. And the waiting time of only an hour for an emergency appointment was brilliant.?????????-Reception team were amazing and helped me get an emergency appointment despite not being registered with them. The dentist was nice enough, but when I explained I have trigeminal neuralgia that directly affects the nerves in my face/teeth/jaw it was unfortunate that he was uninformed on how this affects dental work being done. The extractions caused two separate trigeminal neuralgia attacks whilst I was having the procedure done, and no help was given for this.I was assured that after having the two teeth removed that the pain would subside and be no where near as bad as it has been leading up to the extraction. I sat crying and explaining how worried I was because I haven?t eaten or slept for days from the pain, and asked if I could have some pain relief prescribed for post-op recovery and was refused and told I wouldn?t need it and other than a bit of an ache it would be fine.My worries were completely correct and it?s now the middle of the night and I didn?t even feel this amount of pain when I gave birth! I?m really upset that I had explained that my trigeminal neuralgia was complicating the issue and my worries were dismissed as non existent, and no pain relief was given.I also had repeated panic attacks whilst in the chair before and during having the work done, and I tried to explain why and apologised as much as I could when I was managing to speak, but I honestly just felt like I was being a bother or annoying him. That could be me misreading the situation as I was in pain and very distressed (and I?ll admit, a tad hormonal as I have just had a baby). So for this, I?m not the most reliable narrator.I did ask if there was anything he could do or provide to help me stay calm as in the past I?ve had gas through dental procedures to keep me calm and still but this was dismissed as well.Everyone overall was kind and efficient, and I think an hour long wait for a same day emergency appointment is pretty amazing, but I?m really upset that I had repeated panic attacks throughout which could have been helped or avoided with something as simple as gas, and understanding; and that my worries about the level of pain I was experiencing were completely dismissed and I was left with no support for pain management.I understand that patients who have phobias of drs are trickier to work on, but it doesn?t mean my concerns or intense pain aren?t real.

I had several implants fitted a few months ago and would certainly recommend this service, although I had to have several appointments as my case was a bit more complex than normal due to health reasons, I couldn't have been put anymore at ease. Everyone, especially Peter and Bryony were very good at explaining what was going to happen, they were very kind and happy to answer any questions I had. I felt very well looked after. I love the outcome, it's great to be able to eat properly and not be conscious of smiling as my teeth now look lovely. Thank you

I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience at Kenyons. My dentist is Peter and he is assisted by Ebony. Both have made me feel relaxed and comfortable. The work Peter has done has been amazing. He has totally transformed my teeth/smile and I could not be happier. Never did I think I would look forward to a trip to the dentist but Peter and Ebony have proved me wrong! Would highly recommend

Just before COVID I took the decision to have my teeth done, which included a full top set of dentures, which would include 6 implants. I can honestly say it has been the best decision of my life. The process although took time it was worth the wait. The treatment and care I was given was exceptional and meticulous. I have gone from having teeth that moved when I ate or even smiled, which caused me to have nightmares, dreaming I had lost all my teeth. To having a beautiful set of teeth, I can eat what ever I like and I love to smile to show them off. Thank You some much for the care and treatment provided by the team ?

I have like many, been very apprehensive about visiting the dentist. It's never a great experience.Having appointment issues at our previous dentist, my wife and I decide to try Kenyon's as we had heard good reports.I have to say it was a great decision to move and we've both had fantastic service from the staff and dentists at Kenyon's.Most of our dental work has been done by Peter, who has a great approach and puts you at ease.A very high recommendation from us.

Since I?ve been a patient at this practice I can honestly say they have made me feel very comfortable & relaxed. I have just had an implant fitted and from start to finish they have made me feel at ease! They explained the whole procedure to me. The after care I received was outstanding!! If anyone is looking for a very professional dentist I can highly recommend Kenyons Dental Practice

I would highly recommend this Dental Practice. In my opinion they go above and beyond for their patients. I have had routine dental work and also took the opportunity to use Invisalign to straighten my teeth, which I paid for privately.Peter, Ebony and the team are very professional and paid attention to detail, nothing was too much trouble. The receptionists are friendly and call you back if you leave a message.

Top marks to Kenyons Dental Surgeons (and Peter and Ebony in particular) for my three fabulous dental implants! From my first engagement to finally receiving the implants, every aspect of the process was handled with great professionalism, technical excellence and the utmost patient care. I would not hesitate to return should I require more implants and I would certainly recommend this service and practice to others (in fact, I have already done so!). Thank you, Kenyons.
