Very noisy. Traffic never seemed to die down until around 1 am.We were right on the top floor and the window wasn't very secure. So I don't think that helped with a 3 year old. Also you could hear people in other rooms walking around.Rooms were clean, staff were lovely and were always there if there was a problem. Renovations going on while we were there.Very handy for being close to the town centre. Spoons couple of doors up. A beautiful bakery a couple minutes walk, bus right into Blackpool 2 mins away.Lovely area, we'd visit again, but would probably get somewhere a little quieter.

I stayed last night but was booked in for 3 nights but I couldn't stomach the smell of pea in my room, I had to sleep with the window open until the air-conditioning fans kicked in and they then made an absolute clatter... I did mention it to the guy on reception but he just said it could be the room spray they use well I've never heard of one that smells of pea, he told me they were due a room update,, well I would definitely avoid this hotel untill this has been done. I know you only get what you pay for and the hotel is the cheapest around but surely basic hygiene should not be compromised at any cost.Don't get me started on the lack of car parking, it's obvious that the owners of this company don't give a flying fig about the customers only the bottom line, so my advice is to give this place a wide bearth unless your absolutely desperate for a room.

Very annoying to discover the shower gel dispenser is bone dry when in shower also only one towel for two people ?This was late evening so no point in complaining.Have stayed here before and no problem and will think about staying again .

Refrigeration unit outside our window, staff not interested in helping with noise problems, asked to be moved receptionist said this could not be done, the couple next door also had the same problems, we will not be staying g again!

Smelly room, very bland, placed on the top floor right at the back of the hotel with a generator outside the window, dirty stained carpets in the hallways. Only one lift worked and the remaining one was quite small only just fitting three people in with 3 bags.

I have stayed in numerous types of hotel over the years but not normally the 'budget' sector. However, for a recent trip to a big city I joined others in my party and used a Premier Inn. Recently, having arranged to meet up with some old friends who had moved up North I decided to book a Travelodge, assuming it would be a similar experience to my recent stay. How wrong I was. Parking was 'by chance' followed by taking a lift up to the 1st floor where there was a room marked 'Reception' occupied by one member of staff who was only able to check reservation and hand out key-cards. When booking I saw there was an option for breakfast, and assuming it to be equivalent to Premier Inn offering I clicked 'yes'. Only when I checked in did it become clear that 'breakfast' comprised a few items in a cardboard box to take away with me. As I am Coeliac it was quite clear that at least 50% of the content I cannot eat. Thus, I mentioned this to said member of staff who advised me that he could do nothing about it and to see the Manager in the morning. I asked the Manager's name only to be told that he was not allowed to divulge that information - strange! So, in the morning I saw said Manager to explain the situation but he too said he was unable to issue refunds and gave me the email address to contact when I got home. As it happens it turned out to be an invalid email address. The hotel itself was, for me, quite cramped. Our room was small, as was the bathroom - just a shower cubicle with a plastic curtain.in addition to toilet and wash hand basin. To be fair the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. But, it was a hot evening, the window opened onto a flat roof, making unwanted access available; but there was a desk fan provided. Not a good experience

Paid £130 for a room. It was a boiling day, but the room had no air con. You have to pay to access WiFi at the hotel, its 2023. We were facing the main road and people could see through the window. Definitely poor value for money

Great location, but the room was far too hot and the fan didn?t make any difference. These rooms are not cheap so you?d expect air conditioning for the price. Great that they are dog friendly though, however nothing is supplied for your pouch despite of the supplement charge.

Clean, comfortable and great location. I was so happy to find somewhere central and dog friendly. It was a last minute booking due to the unexpected good weather booking and check in was easy staff very friendly.

The room 217 was basic but ok, it was clean but no shower gel in the shower and low water pressure, the downside was the view, a wood fence, dead pigeons and very noisy air conditioning units which kept coming on during the night.

The lady in reception when we checked in was great. As we had a dog and it was hot so she changed rooms for us and said it would be cooler for our dog in the room she gave us. - the dog and I were very happy

Good price, clean room, good staff, great location and dog friendly, first time in a hotel for our dog and he loved it. Not enough parking, beds a bit too hard but didn?t spoil our stay, would definitely stay again.

Booked accessible room because I was in a wheelchair due to broken ankle. The room was very disappointing carpet full of stains/shower curtain grubby/mouldy/no shower gel in shower area/ stale water still in kettle. My husband complained the man on duty was great changed the shower curtain/ put shower gel in container took photos of carpet said we would receive an evoucher and was very apologetic. 2 months on not received anything even though been in the Travelodge to enquire and was told could take up to 4 weeks it is now more than 8 weeks. Very disappointed because we have stayed in lots of Travelodges really didn't want to make this review but feel I have no choice
