I can't leave more than one star!It has gone from what I would describe as a fantastic experience to something which I can buy along the stone jetty for a lot less. I would take my parents for the experience and was very happy to pay for it. However we I've now been a couple of times since the new owners have taken over and it is clear they have cheapened everything and don't understand what they have purchased. Even to the point when when I contacted them directly to prove feedback they have dismissed my observations. It cheap but expensive. I can see it not lasting very long which is very sad. I believe it's been now about sweating assets and maximising profits but they are going the other way I will count the days till it closes which is very sad considering what the previous owner managed to achieve. :-(

Unique aet decco hotel with wide sea and mountain views. Excellent service and reasonable choice of meals freshly cooked. Comfortable rooms ours has quirky but excellent en suite.

Stayed with a party of three couples on a Sunday afternoon and night for dinner to celebrate my wife's birthday a big thank you to Andy and Lesley who made our stay extra special as we got to see the sunset over the bay a another thank you to young Joel in the bar we all had a lovely weekend and would like to thank all the staff who were all very polite and friendly we will definitely be back.

AWFUL AND OVER PRICED. We are local to the Midland and they have completely changed the Rotunda menu and increased prices. I had the meat sandwich for £13.50 and chips and there was barely any meat in the sandwich. £20 for fish and chips. It's an iconic Hotel but you can certainly price yourself out of the market even with day trippers. Better off going to the Crown for food.

After wanting to stay at the Midland for many, many years... I made a last-minute booking this weekend.Pleasant staff on the phone, at check-in, at the bar and when checking out.The hotel was immaculately clean inside, retains the Art Deco charm it's known for and was everything I hoped it would be.

Lovely location on the front in Morecambe. Usually the restaurant does not take lunch reservations. The food is good, but it has to be ordered at the bar, one would expect in an establishment of this caliber someone would come to your table to take the order. The waitress that got our food was a bit short and snappy. No one checked to see if we were alright or needed anything else.

We come to the Midland at least once a week after a nice walk along the prom, but this afternoon as much as it was lovely there was a lady with a dog that barked most of the time for 20 minutes, and as much as I love dogs I don't like to listen to them while am enjoying the moment, and those that were eating were getting annoyed, I did say something to the bar person but it did continue, just a let down for the experience x

Lovely night away in a very iconic hotel.Danielle at the reception was excellent, alongside her male colleagues. All doing a fab job and very approachable and friendly. Looked like they all got on and worked well as a team.Room lovely either way a sea view, loved just people watching from the window.Food fab, breakfast buffet style with a served warm breakfast.Everything was top notch and I would certainly recommend. The weather wasn?t great but when the sun came out it was very pleasant.

The family had booked the afternoon tea for Mother's day 10th March 2024, it was fantastic - The afternoon tea was superb, we had to take doggy bags home as there were generous selections of sandwiches and cakes - the staff were very attentive, efficient, friendly and helpful even when it was busy, it made for a very memorable Mother's day - with views over morecambe bay to enjoy too - made more special by 1940's music entertainer Paul Harper who sang hits from the 1940's, 50's and 60's - it was magic !!! Both Mum and Dad loved it - Plenty of parking at the Hotel too and a large comfortable bar area, and function rooms as well as bedrooms off the grand stair case - A beautiful Hotel !!! Well run with great staff - Thank you !!!Food & drinks: Afternoon tea was superb, also other menus available as well.

The Rotunda bar is situated within the Midland Hotel and this was our first time visiting.Inside you find a lovely decorated large bar with plenty of seating options availableGreat choice of both food and drink at reasonable prices.We only stayed for a drink, however the food looked lovely, so will definitely eat here on our next visit.The views over Morecombe Bay are spectacular.
