Won't be going into the Omskirk store in future and will buy my products online. The lady in the store watched me from the moment I went in and literally followed me down two Isles. It was uncomfortable and her manner seemed to assume that I might steal something. I'll be buying my curly hair products online directly from the manufacturers in future. The young lady who served me at the counter was polite though. Most regrettable £40 I have ever spent.

I visited the store today to buy toiletries and exchange a faulty makeup item.At the counter the young shop assistant examined the product I was returning whilst speaking to her manager on her headset, telling her what date the product was purchased (fair enough) and how much I'd spent in total (irrelevant as far as I can tell)Eventually the manager (Gillian) came to the till and when I explained the reason for return, she then went away to fetch a brand new make up item to show me "that was the way they were made" I've been buying this product for the past 3 years so I know that's not true. While showing me the new product it actually broke so she asked me what I wanted to do. I said I would have a refund instead of an exchange so she then repeated "that's just the way the product is made" and stared at me.I felt quite awkward as have never experienced a shop manager/assistant quite clearly not want to help a dissatisfied customer.I don't want a product that breaks upon opening but clearly wasn't getting anywhere so took my faulty item and left the rest of my shopping behind.I visit this store regularly and the same manager always looks annoyed and makes me feel uncomfortable for being in the shop.After I asked her name and told her I wasn't happy and was leaving the shop she shouted after me at the door " I'll give you a refund"Too late, I'll visit another Superdrug store to get the customer service I deserve.Will not be visiting this store again.

Variety of products is getting better.This branch now stocks nearly all the cerave product line and other skin care stuff now.Been able to grab some bargains on their bargain shelf in the past, aftershave for 10p, beard oil for 20p and sleeping spray for 50p.

I have never made a complaint about a service however after the numerous visits to this store in which I have received extremely poor customer service from a colleague named 'Kaz' I feel I should. (I believe she is the lady wrote about on the two previous complaints as her appearance matches).On two occasions she has been extremely rude. On the first occasion (July 11th) I entered the store and was purchasing items with two different cards (both cards had my name on) just unfortunately I didn't have enough money on one and I had no internet to swap money over. She refused to give me my NHS discount on both transactions even though I showed her my name was on both cards, stating it is obviously a present for someone else meaning I cannot have my discount for both. She was very rude and short and made me feel extremely uncomfortable.I decided I wouldn't go back to that store, however today (22nd August) I realised I had forgotten some toiletry bits I needed for my holidays so had to pop in. I entered today and she told me they are no longer accepting Blue light cards and I had forgotten to bring my NHS ID so I said ok fair enough I will use my Unidays (as I am a student nurse so work for the NHS and a student). She then refused to give me my student discount using Unidays stating they have never accepted student days only NUS. This is an outright lie as the posters in front of her state Unidays and I have used Unidays countless times at Superdrug. I said this to her and she still refused. So I purchased my items and went to find a different colleague who informed me that no they do accept Unidays and will refund me and resell the items discounted. The whole time I was getting refunded she was talking to the colleague stating that they never have ever accepted them and she has never been told to accept them. Then when I was about to pay she started talking down to me once again whilst she was serving someone else and I was being served my someone else.I will never go back to this Superdrug.

As I can see with previous reviews of this store the lady behind the till is the epitomy of bad customer service. Doesnt listen, would rather argue with you despite her being clueless of Superdrugs own promotions. Been served twice by this lady and both times been refused student discount. With her saying they don't accept unidays, even though they clearly do.

Been in to the Ormskirk store twice now and both times I've been met with poor customer service. The first refused to give me student discount as they refused to search my beautycard acc by email and the second was today, when I was told I needed to take a picture of my barcode so they could scan it because searching for my email was not good enough. I'd like to point out, this is the only store I've been to that has had an issue with using my email. To pull a disgraceful face as I asked politely if I could use my email as I didn't have my card and then tell me 'searching for my email is inconsiderate to other customers" despite being a customer myself, is just ridiculous. I' m really dispointed.
