Booked in with Tom for a loss of power and an engine Management light, relating to the maniford flaps jammed. They stripped down the top of the engine and soaked the parts in acid, to remove the Carbon build up, so saved me over 1k in parts. Since then the car pulls like a Tesla! Amazing service and knowledge from Dave and Tom. Thanks guys!

Update below??Not as good as they used to be. Used to feel confident leaving my car with them, but after the last service I not so sure anymore. I have just spent over an hour trying to remove sticky grease from my paintwork on my wings, doors and parts of my interior door trim! It?s the first chance I?ve had to clean my car and found that the grease that was applied to all hinges and catches has been sprayed everywhere around where the catches and hinges are. This grease has picked up all the grit from the roads and made a mess.**Dave from ADS contacted me after the above review, he offered to put right the mess from the grease. A mobile detailer (Jax Detailing) visited my house and spent a morning on my car. Pleased with the outcome. ??

Feel like I've almost been robbed.Had a starting fault with my car and took it in to get it looked at. £102 but figured it wasn't too bad as I believed i was in the best place in my area for an Audi TT.Was asked to wait in the waiting room, but i wanted to show the engineers the fault. Wasn't allowed to talk to them. Not even to get suggestions on what could be causing the fault.Skipping to the invoice, £1,900 roughly in total. Granted, there are two panels with noise coming from them. £430 to simply see what's causing it. Even though i know there is a loose screw in one door and was told by a mechanic the clip is mostly broken in the second.*A replacement panel costs £40 <checked on Ebay>Was quoted for a cambelt change and water pump + s tronic oil service. Even though this was done at 68k miles, it's only on 79k now. I questioned this and was told its apart of the guidelines and that they didn't know. But its a bit difficult to be informed when there is no time for the customer to actually speak to the mechanic in charge of servicing their vehicle. For context, this costs roughly £700.I came here because of the high reviews but left feeling disappointed. It's such a shame. Hope they improve.

I took my a7 here to have an oil leak diagnosed and repaired. ADS went over and above in my opinion. I tried to get the leak covered by Handler Protect as I had this warranty included with the car. I was skeptical but as it was included I thought it was worth trying, especially as the warranty clearly states oil seals and gaskets are covered. To cut a long story short the warranty company made me and ads supply every hourly rate, quote, mot, service history etc that you can imagine, made us sit on the car for 3 working days (they won't pay out until they have approved the claim, and state any work started before a decision invalidates the claim) then didn't approve any of the works. Handler protect warranty is not worth the paper is written on. ADS then completed the job promptly(after I told them to crack on and that the warranty company were time wasters) , fixing the oil leak and pointing out a couple of other items. Their communication is really quick and they kept me informed and aware of all the works involved and the total cost so there were no surprises. They even pointed out a potential small coolant leak, quoted me in advance but advised not to do it yet. Their vehicle health check is really thorough. I will be definitely be returning to ADS next time I need anything. ???

Didn't work for me. A diagnostic test on my VW Transporter found a faulty EGR valve. I was given a quote for £2500 including work on the brakes. The diagnostic test was £102 to find the fault.It just needed a clean out with a bottle of Forte for £15 I wasn't told this at the garage.

Used this garage to Remap (Stage 1) my Skoda Rapid and give it a service/MOT. Car was with them for a couple of hours and cannot fault them. They even rang to double check what I wanted with the remap before they carried it out. Would use again but no longer work in the area, so have used a garage closer to me.Service: Auto engine tuning

I had a long-standing turbo issue with my T5 Transporter BiTDi that multiple ?specialists? had been unable to identify. ADS were recommended to me by another diagnostic service in my area that had been unable to identify the issue. ADS performed a thorough and structured investigation and identified and rectified the issue. They kept me informed of the status and next steps of the investigation throughout. I took our VW Polo to ADS after our usual mechanic failed to isolate a problem with the braking system. ADS were able to locate the problem and after replacing a few defective parts completed the repair. Throughout the process I was kept informed on progress.
