Medium sized co-op, handy local shop with great opening hours. Little bit expensive for weekly shopping.

Friendly and helpful staff. Some good offers to be had and you can save more money if you have a Co-op membership.

A small shop crammed with as much as possible. Occasionally Co-Op foods have good offers so it?s always worth a look online to see what should be in.Fruit and Veg is nice and fresh, I don?t think we?ve ever had a rotten fruit or salad item. The meats and fresh foods are a good quality and slightly more expensive than other chains but it?s to be expected.Milk is expensive, if they told me the additional money spent was going straight to the farmer I?d buy it but you are paying the same for 4 pints of milk as you would for 6 pints elsewhere.Reasonable selection of household goods, cupboard foods, soft drinks , confectionery and crisps.Frozen items are very limited due to size of the store. They do sell fresh bakery items but they are in limited quantities and tend to go quite quick, there is normally a display by the bakery aisle front but they often put items on the lower checkout shelves so remember to look there. They sell items in the kiosk too, which I presume is high priced alcohol and cigarettes, as well as lottery tickets and some medications (cold remedies etc).Due to Co-Vid19 the shop is really restricted in how many people it can allow in, you literally can?t have more than 2 people in an aisle without blocking it in normal conditions, so in current conditions it?s 1 person per aisle and then there is no room to navigate backwards if you change your mind about something. The staff are always friendly and polite, I just wish they wouldn?t hover around in the aisles talking or messing with shelves when there are lots of people trying to use the store. I know they have to restock often due to the size but do it when there is a lull and do it quick!
