The guy on duty at the post office could not have been more helpful. It's an Aladdin's cave of goods and services, clean, smart, professional, but the icing on the cake are most definitely the staff, particularly those behind the Post Office counter. “Amazing store this. All Hunt’s Spar shops are so much more than convenience stores. They’re carefully curated shops that have great fruit and veg, wonderful meats from Mercer’s and especially cold fridges with a brilliant selection of beers and wines. I can’t recommend highly enough.”

The manager/supervisor, Dave was so cheerful, friendly and so helpful as well as Jamie, Ruth and Kenlly, (I don't know if I spelt it correctly) who took over from Dave in the afternoon. “I just recently moved, and as such I have no fridge freezer or oven, just a microwave. Spoke with Mel yesterday and explained my situation and asked if it would be possible if I could buy one of the 2 for £5 or £6 chilled microwave meals, take one home and leave the other one behind to pick up today. She was so lovely and said that was fine. She has helped make my stressful week less stressful, and I hugely appreciate it x”

As an express store it doesnt have fhe same choice as a full size Suoermarket, but its not as big as one either. People. Needing milk or cereal in tge morning, a pack of sandwiches for lunch, things for the kids pack lunches and drinks for the wrekend it is perfect. Make sure you carry your Tescocard”

“I’ve used this shop for the better part of twenty years, seen staff come & go, personally I’ve always found the staff to be friendly and incredibly helpful. Being disabled and on walking sticks, the staff always offer to carry my basket, always hold the doors open for me (never once have I had to prompt them for assistance, it was always offered first). - I can’t fault the staff. Shop stocks a decent range of goods and the prices are often better than those of a well known ‘Express’ store.”

“My partner and I visited the thermal spa(twilight experience 5.30-7.30) last night and are now planning a night's stay for my birthday it was so enjoyable. I was a little nervous as I've never visited a spa experience before but I need not have worried. The whole experience was in no way snotty or uncomfortable; just pure luxury, rest and relaxation which was much needed. We could've happily stayed longer and we both slept so well afterwards we were so relaxed. The experience is made up of numerous saunas/steam rooms, zen/monsoon showers, hottubs, foot spas, a hydrotherapy pool, an aroma room, relaxation areas etc, all against a backdrop of the Lancashire countryside Changing rooms a perfect cherry on the top. Lovely location. I hesitated for quite a while before booking but didn't regret it for a second and wish I'd booked sooner. Don't hesitate like me, just book it and enjoy;)”
