Thank you Joe earlier for replacing my rear tire and for helping me out with securing my backpack to my bike rack. I was having trouble with it beforehand and he spent time with me patiently to work out with me how to secure it properly for my needs. I appreciate this greatly. He didn't have to help me as much as he did. So I'm glad.\\nI also would like to thank Tom as well for his previous attentive work with my current bicycle helping me replace several older parts on it with after my previous one had its wheels and seat stolen. I've seen him almost every time I've gone in for improvements or with an issue. Everyone here has been immensely patient with me and their customer care truly is their priority. Hats off to the staff you have at this specific Halfords.

My appointment was at 10:30am and waited for 20 minutes to get my bike checked. I felt ignored when the staffs served other customers when I was already waiting at the counter. The bike service was okay and that's why I'm giving two stars rating.I bought an aim pump for my bike the same day, and wanted to demonstrate how it works. When I was asking questions about of the use of the air pump, she didn't responded willingly. I left the store feeling unwelcomed and unhappy. The staffs need to be more customer friendly.

I bought replacement bulbs online, and they were ready instore within the hour. They were fitted straight away, by a very courteous and pleasant staff member, even though it was absolutely bucketing down with rain.Absolutely excellent service, thank you.

Amazing place to visit if you?re a new cyclist and especially if you are in the hands of Mr Tom (Manager). One of the best customer service guys in town, he finds different ways to help customers and provides multiple options based on the budget, preference etc. He has good knowledge about cycles and comes with options for his customers. Over all most of the staff here is very friendly. I love this place :-)

Ordered a bike yesterday for pickup a couple of days later. Online process was straightforward. Tom at Preston dock lands Halfords rang me this morning to let me know it was ready ahead of time and could be picked up whenever I was ready. Excellent customer service from Tom; had me sorted out in about 10 minutes; an easy seamless experience thanks!

Needed a new rear derailleur for my bike after my last one went bust. Tom was ace; great advice, got me what I needed, and sorted out a price match on the part. Excellent customer service & no complaints at all!

Lovely, helpful staff. Caspar offered to carry my bike upstairs, although it was 20 mins until closing Lisa made sure it was looked at & Joe fixed it and carried bike back down. Great, fast service this time & the last time I came in from another colleague in the bike dept. Thanks!

Professional service and fitting of a new car battery after just walking in with no prior booking. All the staff was extremely helpful although it was a busy time of the day every customer was treated fast and professional. Worth the visit. Thank you

I'd give this place 10 stars if I could!I had booked in for a bronze service to sort my sons bike which had a gear issue and a puncture. I got there a few minutes late, but wasn't too much trouble for Mark.He inspected the bike and got to work on it pretty much straight away whilst serving other customers.It took slightly longer to fix, but Mark got there in the end.He provided excellent service, was polite and jovial! I bought the silver service package instead of the one off service.Thanks Mark - if the bosses are reading this, you need to give him a bonus at least!

Terrible customer service ! Bought a bike 3 weeks ago for my 11 year old Grandson. Had to tighten the wheels when got home after paying for it being built . A problem has developed with the chain coming off and the gears . Made an appointment today to go in at 11.30 for a check . Practically ignored by the man on the desk . He casually looked at it from a distance and said there was nothing wrong with it . He did not offer to take a closer look or physically test it . Made my Grandson feel humiliated and they left in tears. His attitude was terrible ?. This bike needs professionally checking as we are not happy with its performance or safety .

After what started off as a very negative experience with a member of staff who couldn?t be bothered to help me and fobbed me off.Two brilliant staff member Casper and his college went above and beyond to ensure I got what I needed and helped me to fit it too, waved the fee as an apology for the long wait and negative start I had.These two lads were fab thanks again so much

I have never encountered such disastrous, incompetent service. You gave me bike for my 6 years old daughter that the handlebars were not screwed properly. If we hadn't noticed it my child's attempt to ride it could have ended tragically. You have seriously jeopardized my childs health and life. The worker knew that the children's bike was so seriously out of order.My bike 2 hours after purchase left at service. Even the bicycle department manager not see the foult and try to convince the customer that the skipping chain and pedals in one if the gears are the correct operation of the bicycle :)I wasted many hours coming back several times with the same problem and each time I was ignored. Now I wouldn't even buy air for my tires from Halfords again.
