1 STAR is being far too kind.Tonight I have ordered the most in edible food from The Ruby in Preston.How can food that feels and looks like it has been refried several times be sold to customers. I wouldn't even let my dog eat it.Lesson learnt to always check food ratings before ordering food.Never again will I order from here. The chicken wings where rock hard and you couldn't bite into them because of the thick dry layer of batter.The best was to describe this food is something you would pick out of KFCs bin.

Ordered on just eat at 7.20pm it's now 10pm and still no delivery. Can't get through to the place goes to answering machine but can't leave a voicemail as its full. Absolute bunch of cowboys avoid this place like the plague

My food was almost 3 hours late order duck and pancakes no spring onion and no pan cakes food was very flat and bland and they also gor the orders wrong I can say it was the worst Chinese I've had and the almost hour wait was very disappointing

Food, amazing. Delivery, absolutely horrendous. Only two lads working in the shop and one delivery driver, so they just can't get the orders out. If you want to eat here, collection only is a must.

***WARNING*** ? DO NOT PLACE ORDERS WITH THIS RESTAURANT.... placed a large order online food hub, payment was taken but food never arrived, phoned Ruby when the order was 2.5 hours late but ust kept saying 'it's on the way' eventually after 3 hours I phoned to cancel but of course they was having none of this and claimed I could not cancel the order. Obviously it never arrived and they never answered the phone to me again. contacted both Ruby and food hub the day after but neither seem interested and only offered a petty £4 voucher towards the costs of over £100. Absolutely disgusting.

Avoid this place at all costs! Ordered food at 7pm by 9:30 no food arrived. We contacted restaurant after just eat said it had been delivered. We were answered by a very rude man, absolutely no customer service whatsoever. Explaing it was still cooking considering we phoned an hour prior and he said the same thing, still cooking. Clearly had not checked our order number for a real update. We told him to cancel the order and asked for refund he then started screaming down the phone to say he doesn't do refunds and to context justeat. Luckily justeat issued our refund. But after reading upon the place sounds like this is a recurring problem with this takeaway place not even worthy of 1 star.

Be quicker to walk to China....... . Shocking service, website said 45 mins delivery and 2.5 hours later still not here, man on the phone very rude, argues with you. Don't go here, not worth the hassle!!!!!!

I ordered through big foodies, when it arrived, the complete order was wrong . Not only wrong but what did arrive was foul. I contacted big foodies, who advised me to contact the outlet direct and was met with arrogant staff who stated they sent out the correct food. Let me tell all. I will not use big foodie again nor will I use the RUBY CHINESE TAKEAWAY PRESTON either. .... I expect better from anywhere.

Placed the order and had to make two calls to the outlet and each time it was on its way!! The guy on the phone was abusive with me and the service was shocking. I got a knock on the door 4 HOURS later. Waste of time just don't bother.

Our usual chinese take away was shut so decided to try Ruby's again after a few years away. We remembered it being fairly decent. Well we won't be going there again. Everything was grey, didn't look appetising and the chicken in my sweet and sour Chicken was as tough as old boots. And to top it off it was fecking expensive for what it was. Won't be going back again
