This isn?t central if you?re arriving by train ? and it?s not the most pleasant of walks from the bus/train station. You can of course arrive by car but see other reviews!Room was basic but that was all I needed as I was late arriving and early departing. And what is it with Travelodge and no plugs by the bed?

Very messy room. We paid £108 for the still paid for the parking. stayed in room 221. The room carpet is very dirty. The bathroom is ok, but the hair and body wash filled not work at all in the shower. I felt parking was very tricky. After all, it's not a good experience ?

Good clean hotel. Staff very friendly. Decent breakfast.Car park very tricky if you have big car like Q7 or something. Double check with hotel if you need to pay for parking.

You get what you pay for. Lovely staff, room was clean and beds comfy. However hotel itself is looking a bit tired. Parking is awful, very tight spaces, pillars everywhere, would not be able to park in here if you have a large car, almost impossible to get in and out. Also have to pay for parking, was only £3 for 24 hours which is cheap but hotel parking should be free as you register your licence place at reception anyway.

An old kill which has been converted into the hotel which is located on an Ideal location with all amenities in access and with nice and clean rooms.Carpets do need replacing together toiletries which are not provided by the hotel. One of the bad things of this hotel is the parking. Very narrow spaces, pillars everywhere and on top of that, now it?s not free until unless you put your registration in hotel?s tablet provided every time you go in or out . If you do forget at the night time when you Checkin, you may end up getting a big ticket.Rooms: Clean and cozy roomsNearby activities: PNE, City Centre, new hall lane, Preston HMP ?Safety: Parking is terrible, rest is okNoteworthy details: Parking is terrible, congested with pillars everywhere. Not recommended for bigger cars

Broken window in first room, had to repack and be moved. Staff not really interested although did move me. Broken TV in next room but by this point I just wanted to settle down and did without. Car park is not for the faint hearted or nervous driver. I was fine but for somebody less experienced I can imagine it would be a very scary experience. Supporting posts for the hotel above are very close together and you have to make multiple 3 points turns to get in and out without damaging your car (as many others have done judging by the scuffs on the posts) also, you have to pay for a space and it is not guarenteed that you will get it back if you pop out while on your stay.

We arrived rather travel-weary but were able to find the hotel easily even though we had never visited Preston before. There was a convenient car park which led directly to reception. The staff were helpful and friendly and we were quickly checked in. Our rooms were clean warm and comfortable. The bed really comfortable and there was good en-suite facilities. There was also a bar and restaurant on the second floor which meant that we didn?t need to leave the hotel. The bar manager and chef (Sophie and Steph) were both great. Nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel most welcome. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a convenient place to stay.

Great welcome this morning from the reception and breakfast crew. They really looked after me even though as I was half asleep. Clean, comfortable and great value. Breakfast was great with a wide choice. Always a winner. Thanks guys you are legends!

Please don?t waste your money at this horror house. This is I?ve 100 years old building, rooms , corridors, carpets stinks very badly. Car park is challenging without someone?s help.Members of staff lake of customer service skills.

I needed a one night stay and this worked well for price and location. All the staff were incredibly helpful. Only major down fall is the car park. The hotel is in an old mill so the car park is dotted with large poles everywhere, making it impossible to maneuver your car around. I scratched my car in the process! I found out later there's a free car park right next door. Would highly recommend parking here or elsewhere if you can. AVOID THE CAR PARK

It is listed as a 2 star Hotel, and that's what you get. Clean but basic. All things worked for me, TV, kettle soap dispenser. The fact you have to pay extra for WiFi and parking dents the value proposition. I followed the scary reviews about the car park and parked over the road (behind Lidel). Have changed my booking for next week to the Premier Inn.

Very basic rooms as you'd expect but the staff at this place were excellent one and all. Very helpful, well above and beyond. Thanks to them all for being genuinely friendly and welcoming after a long journey to get there.

In the center of Preston, all the amenities are nearby , Lidle is just opposite, the rooms are very comfortable and clean, free parking for guests and paid for anyone, good parking space , the food and drinks are really good.

The staff couldn't of helped me more, the manager Tracy went above and beyond to make sure that I got to the station and had a breakfast before I left. I would highly recommend this as a stop over. Bless them

Fine for one night overnight stay. Really close to Preston park run, M6 and town centre. Staff very welcoming when we arrived at 10pm completely exhausted. They looked after us and made the whole journey much easier. I feel the leadership has done well when reception staff are welcoming. Do many places we visit we are left feeling put out by the lack of a decent welcome, how are you? How was your journey? Etc. So basic, but so many receptionists don't ask those questions.
