I can't praise them enough! They advised and helped with all aspects of my wife's funeral from the: choice of celebrant ( John Bentham ), venue after the service finished to the printing of the presentation cards and order of service booklets, the route that the funeral cars took all of which we where very pleased with. I have no hesitation in recommending Lucy and all the team at Helen Ashmore Funeral Services who looked after my wife in a caring and thoughtful way throughout. many thanks from the family of Margaret D Prescott.

From the very Start, Helen and her staff were polite, professional and compassionate. They made a difficult time much easier with their helpful and caring manner. Helen herself is a lovely lady to deal with, putting me at ease immediately and giving me confidence in my dealings with her. All enquiries were dealt with promptly and caringly throughout.The funeral was very well organised with cars arriving promptly, and Helen again putting us all at our ease (despite my tardy family). The little extra touch of small memory cards with the order of service was much appreciated,and easily posted on to those who could not attend.Very many thanks to Helen and ALL her staff for their courteous and caring attention! I would highly recommend.

After my father died I had no idea what to do. Helen Ashmore was so helpful and supportive in talking me through the process and decisions. She co-ordinated and organised most of the immediate tasks required in dealing with a death e.g. the notice in the newspaper, the type of service needed, the link with the church and crematorium, the flowers, the wake, the order of service and booklet, the type of coffin, the cars required as well as the care of the body and receipt of the ashes. Everything was carried out very sensitively and to the highest standard and on the day of the funeral Helen talked us through what would happen at each point. The funeral was as perfect as it could be and I would highly recommend Helen Ashmore to anyone who needs to arrange a funeral. Payment for all services used came in one itemised invoice a few weeks after the funeral.
