I cannot speak highly enough of the standard of workmanship and quality of the bathroom furnishings supplied by Norbreck Bathroom and Tile Centre. Our bathroom was transformed from a rather boring small square space into some rather more luxurious nor was it beyond our fixed budget. Remarkable in itself.Josh, the bathroom specialist, was a delightful young man who knew his business and his advice was invaluable, meticulous in his workmanship, and a pleasure to deal with.A highly recommended company.

We finally splashed out on a bathroom makeover in a 1960s house. Same bath from the start. My awful tiling and mould attracting sea shells to fill in the bits blue (yes, blue) grouting missed. We found the national chains pushy and reviews iffy. From the moment I walked into Norbreck Bathroom and Tile Centre I felt reassured, confident we were in the right hands. Front of house Donna's ability to put even the most anxious oldie at ease was enviable - for this carer. And our fitter Josh was able to deal with my 86 year old mum at her most fractious. We'd had to cancel our original booking because of illness but were committed to seeing it through. We wanted the works - although we really should have included the ceiling and lighting too. The job took the better part of 3 weeks - an entirely one man (Josh) job - a skip parked outside for much of it raided by visiting recyclers attempting to angle grind taps off the cast iron bath for a few quid or grab whatever metal was there, including from another job handled by the company. It made Ma forsake daytime telly in favour of becoming territorial guardian of the skip. Josh was great at leaving the house tidy each night, brick dust gone and all. The work itself wasn't entirely without hitch - a brand new comfort height toilet with irritatingly clingy toilet seat turned up with a break in the seat. I reckon its day are already numbered given the times I've heard it to clunk to the bowl. The semi pedestal for the matching sink was cracked too. However, both were dealt with speedily and very little delay as Josh would get on with the next job until new parts arrived. After a hissy fit by Ma over grab rails she'd selected I got some new ones, same company, via my Screwfix account - no hassle. This young man's tiling is superb, lined up with precision via a laser levelling device, and the team's advice to complement the beautiful but conventional tiles selected with a dry stone wall-like insert of contrasting tiles on opposing walls was inspired. It looks beautiful. Nicely tiled floor too; door taken off and sanded to suit the difference in height, emphasis on aesthetics extending to the whole finishing process. Yes, the work was noisy and we were without a sink for much of it, and a loo for part of each day, but it was worth it. As for the shower ? It's fantastic to be able to just walk in (well, once you're removed the shower seat and the air dryer for keks etc involved in the elderly loved one...) and just shower. Not leg it over a bath via a far from secure step on the floor and pray your mum doesn't slip. Admittedly, it's Grab Bar City Agogo, and Josh admitted he's never drilled so many holes (in otherwise pristine tiles) but it needs to work for my mother, and it does, and she loves the eco setting on the shower and the brand new radiator and mirror cabinet. Just two observations - companies are not obliged to supply receipts but it's courteous business practice to do so. We've got one for labour and tiles but the materials made up a fair old chunk of the costs and we'd have liked it receipted. We also needed a residual circuit breaker/control unit - something I'd asked about (albeit mistaking it for an isolator switch, which we had) ahead of the job being costed out. We were told on pretty much the last day that it was needed but a young electrician recommended by the company turned up a couple of days later to to sort it out. Sadly, we're still waiting on the certification required. So, practicalities, patience, quality of work and sheer hard graft on the part of young Josh, five stars, and five stars to Donna for her patience too, and some great advice and choices on our behalf. Only the paperwork leaves room for improvement - such as details of the guarantees, all receipts, certificate from the electrician, and user guides for the main products supplied. Which I've downloaded from the manufacturers' own sites. I'd still recommend Norbreck Bathrooms unhesitatingl

I used Norbreck Bathrooms to refurbish my bathroom. Not only did I get a new suite, but also floor, ceiling, windows and tiled walls too. One our bigger investments in the house I was apprehensive and spent some time researching. I can not fault the service and finished product from this company, from selection, through installation and final finish they were helpful in the selection, careful in their installation and meticulous in their attention to detail of the finished product. The little things like putting down the carpet protector, and checking what colour/shade sealant made the overall finish exceed our expectations. I would recommend whole heartedly, with no hesitation.
