Truckhaven is a gem of a find. Yes, it's where trucks pull in and drivers stay overnight, but this should not deter you. Food in the restaurant is tasty and hot and there is always plenty of it. Staff are friendly, and you will get the cheapest fuel in the area. Much better option than the motorway service stations.

Prices for fuel really good. 7p a litre compared to local supermarket. Only complaint, pumps could be more clearly labelled.

It was our first stay at Truckhaven as part of a dive team staying over Friday night and Saturday night.
From booking the room till leaving it was a perfect visit. All the staff were so friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble.
The food was really good, we had the big breakfast in the morning and the Runp Steak for dinner and couldn't fault anything. The price was also excellent value too.
The rooms we lovely and clean with the beds being very comfortable. The only downside was it cam be quite noisy throughout the night so didn't get a lot of sleep Friday night, HOWEVER, we managed to buy some ear plugs and Saturday night slept like a baby.
Will definitely be back soon.

If you want to use your Nectar card use pump 1 to 10. I was filling a Motorhome towing a car so used a hgv pump, No points

Easy excessable with dedicated entrance. Care should be taken using the end fuel pumps (cars) as vans take up most of the space available. Shop has a variety of travel products at normal prices. Fuel is the cheapest in the area, a must to fill up if around
