Four friends' hot tub weekend. We all had really enjoyable time. The Lodge (CD 12) was just what we needed. The site itself is beautifully laid out. We did not use the restaurant or leisure centre, but took a peek. It all looked good. The situation of the site is great for exploring the area.

Well looked after and maintained. Staff are constantly working at keeping the grounds looking their best. There is also a gym and swimming pool along with a restaurant on site. Would easily recommend a visit to this place.

A good base for visiting Morcambe Bay & Sliverdale/Arnside ANOB; Windermere is only half an hour's drive away. The site has a restaurant, swimming pool & gym. There are water sport facilities on the neighbouring Pine Lake. Tesco & Aldi nearby in Carnforth, a few decent pubs not too far away. There is noise from the M6 but depends where you are on site. A couple of on-lead dog-walks on site, but generally you'll need a car to get anywhere worth visiting. Petrol station within 5 mins.

Booked a lodge within this leisure village for a 3-night stay with friends and we had a really good time. The lodges are all very similar, which is to say good value and clean, especially if you have a jacuzzi on the patio. The leisure village is gated with nice walks along the lake, a restaurant & bar and spa centre with gym facilities.Driving to Windermere and the heart of the lake District is 30-60 minutes which isn't bad and Aldi & Tesco are just down the road, however would be convenient to have a convenience store on site alongside the restaurant and spa.Rooms: Cosy lodges with space for couples or small friend groups within a gated community.Safety: Gated community with lovely neighbours.Walkability: You can walk around within the leisure village but need a car or bike to get anywhere outside of itFood & drinks: There's a decent restaurant and bar serving a nice selection but the prices are quite high.

Lovely tranquil place, well looked after, dog friendly with easy access to the lake district. On site restaurant is closed monday and tuesday. We were in a lakeside lodge which was fab. Local supermarkets 5 minute drive away in Carnforth. We didnt use the pool or spa facilities but they appeared popular. Would recommend.

We have just returned from a 4 night stay and would definitely recommend this park. We have stayed in other lodges in the north east however this was the best for many reasons. The 2 bedroom lodge with hot tub was immaculate, we stayed in a Sherwood lodge for 4 with our dog. The lodge was spacious, had two bathrooms which was ideal and provided everything and more that you could possibly want for a short break. The location was picturesque, and ideally situated. We managed a visit to Windermere, a trip to Morecambe and to Blackpool illuminations. We ate at the restaurant on site our first night and the food was great. Staff at reception were organised and helpful. It is well worth a visit and we will definitely be returning in the near future.

Great lodge, great location. No food availability on a Monday and due to kitchen staff days off...

The Waters Edge bar only serves food Wednesday to Sunday last order taken at 7-8pm which is very early. We twice told they they could not accommodate us in the restaurant but it was empty. The lake is great for paddle boarding. It's not as close to the Lake's as we were told every lake is at least an hour or more away. If you are going for a quiet time be mindful that there is at our lodge a lot of road and train noise

This is our 4th time staying here and we can?t wait to book again. It is always immaculate, quiet and so relaxing. The views over the lake are glorious. The team are always so friendly in the gym and spa. We love bringing our little boy here and walking round the grounds.
