If you take young children who want a 'lunch bag' it may be a good idea to take your own food. We visited at lunch-time and despite being told repeatedly that the children's sandwiches were in the cabinet, the cupboard was bare. I am at a loss to understand why a cafe could not make extra sandwiches. All they could offer was toast. What a shambles.

A useful extension of the store itself, offering a selection of motoring products and an extensive range of confectionery & soft drinks. Fuel is available 24/7 via several automated pumps.

Not so cheap when I had to take my car in with the fuel filter having water in it after putting diesel in January! Not long after kept cutting out. I did overhear they washed the tanks out the week before, obviously not properly so now go elsewhere, lucky it didn't completely wreck my engine!!

Don?t. I had smoked salmon. Salmon was grisly. Scrambled egg was hard and solid. Certainly not scambled. Very overcooked and served on a cold plate.it took 30 minutes to serve. The table was not cleaned after the previous customer.

We anted toasred hot cross buns bt had to settle for tea cake with butter, cream and jam. It was very nice and a good cup of tea, but not as good as a hot cross bun.

We visited the cafe on a monday morning as 2 couples wanting a table of 4. There was a wait to order (and the queue ended up past the toilet entrance and into the store entrance) - this was because of the lack of available tables. One of the reasons we noticed was because at least 9 Tesco staff were taking their breaks in the cafe (a table of 6 and another of 3/4). There were also people who could have used a table for 2 that were taking up 4 or 6 seats. Once we finally ordered we actually only had a short time to wait - we all had breakfast which was well-cooked and hot so they made up some brownie points there. I also realised they were still taking part in the 'eat out to help out' so we got our food half price which was a bonus. My details were taken for test and trace and tables were sanitised etc but a couple in front of us with a small child allowed him to sit on the counter whilst they ordered - really not hygienic and he was also touching a number of things including the card machine. The staff member never once asked him to stop or ask them to remove him from the counter. Would probably go back for breakfast and give the another chance but definitely wouldn't want to try on a busier day e.g. a weekend.

Priced reasonably keenly, and often cheaper than nearby alternatives. It can be a luck of the draw how busy it is, so early mornings or mid-evening are the quietest time. The car wash is very good, although not strictly Tescos.

I seem to always have to wait along time to get fuel. it's always busy which I'm guessing is due to the price. I've tried calling in before work, which for me is about 04:15am, but on my past few attempts it's been coned off so I've been unable to refuel.

One of the cheapest petrol stations in the area especially if you are using a clubcard. Also next to a large Tesco so easy to fill up and do a big shop at the same time. Has pay at pump to make it quicker to fill up.
