Brilliant pub warm and welcoming staff great prices reasonable . Still great . Great pub Alex just brilliant. The pub has changed no atmosphere needs cleaning been there twice this week toilets have not been cleaned. Bar area untidy sticky tables not hoovered. Very disappointed. It has changed the lamb is a lot cleaner .

In here now had a coach trip to a lovely town and have to say the bar staff are vile, ignorant to guests that are not locals, rude when asked why not being served, told yo 'calm down' for asking! Let's say avoid there are nicer, more welcoming pubs in the town.

Came here because it advertised sports and the Ashes was on. The cricket was taken off the main 3 bar screens for mid week horse racing! It a pretty rough local pub - I like a local boozer but there?s an unpleasant edginess here

Would have liked something to eat but none available. We were visiting Ashby from Manchester. The Town is lovely and St Helens Church. The pub.was warm and we watched the rugby. Might be a good idea to do coffees.
