Lovely rooms with comfortable beds, clean and nice decor. Good shower pressure and heat. Super friendly staff and great hearty breakfast. Safe parking (just remember to give the staff your number plate). Just a skip away from Blaby Town centre, so nice and calm at night and in the morning, but all the conveniences and night life you might want when staying in a smaller town. On a more personal note, very close to my grandma's retirement home, so great for a family visit.Thank-you to everyone here for making us very welcome :DRooms: Comfy and spacious, up to date decor and electric/broadband connectivity, good showerNearby activities: Good pubs (including the Baker's Arms, second oldest pub in the country, and some more modern-minded offerings like the Fox and Tiger), National Space Centre, Bosworth Battlefield, Shackerstone Railway/Battlefield LineFood & drinks: Hearty and copious breakfast (choices include full english including vegetarian option, and continental, among others)

Checked in and paid for the 3 Days we were going to stay. The experience was not friendly and I felt like I should not be there. The rooms are down a walkway separate from the check in desk. The room was a shambles and has a nasty smell. I decided to leave the same evening and at check out, the owner came to try talking me out of leaving. When I stood firm he said he was charging me for 2 nights because of their 48hr cancellation policy, what? I was just so ready to leave I ran out and I suggest you do the same. Leicester Marriott is cheaper and way better. RUN!!

It's full of migrants that the UK government stuck them in and I'm paying and so are you if you live in the UK

We were pleasantly surprised having read some of the reviews. Our room was in the Annexe, we paid an extra £2 for a larger room and it was well worth it. The room was clean and comfortable. There seems to be some ongoing updating if some of the "tired" parts of the building. There is ample parking and the location is central to shops, pubs and restaurants. For business meetings the location is good as you avoid driving into a busy Leicester city centre.

Only went for first aid training in one room, so can't comment on a lot really

Good place to stay for a reasonable price. Parking is good, rooms clean and function well. Location is quiet but close to shops ect. A few miles from the city but feels rural.

Hotel looks in need of painting, but the room we had was perfect for our 1 night visiting, and even suitable for a longer stay. Room was spotless, and had all we needed including tea and coffee.

This 'hotel' serves no food at all. I was allowed into the entrance to pay on arrival, get keys and be shown a room in an annex. Contact with foyer was via a speaker on the front door. "W hat do you want?" was not encouraging. The shower of the room said there were plenty of cafes and takeaways within walking distance or there was Iceland or Aldis. I could eat in the room or outside! Not within walking distance for older people or in bad weather. He recommended the Coffee Bean: it opens a.m. when they like (good food) and closes at 3pm or whenever. Shopping at Iceland is fine but a motel would have a fridge for eg cheese. Room was clean.

The hotel has been almost closed during the Covid pandemic and is slowly trying to turn around, they do have rooms that I haven't seen, and they do serve b/fast, I wish them the very best ...

Advertised as hotel with bar, gym & restaurant, in fact you only enter the hotel for your keys & to pay, only after you have rang the door bell to get someone?s attention. Your stay is in a block of rooms at the side of the hotel, near the car park. No bar, restaurant or gym. You have a room and no facilities - a motel. Our room was clean with kettle, tea, coffee etc. However our room was very cold when we returned late at night after a family meal, the radiator stayed cold all night and it was a very cold night. The hotel itself looks as if it needs lots of attention, and our room needed new window frames & attention to the bathroom. It is in a good location with shops, cafes, etc close by, which is good if you?re looking for breakfast, or a meal. This hotel used to be lovely with a great restaurant but it looks very sad now.

Stayed here 20 years ago after a family wedding and it was a fab hotel. Sadly its gone downhill. Room ok but all needs updating. Bathroom - Window frame needs painting, new blinds. Mirror lights rusting.Bath rusty. Beds comfortable, room clean. Clean towels. Shower good but bath slippy, had to use towel to stand on in shower. Free WiFi, plenty of parking. Bar & restaurant not open. Gym & pool not open. Had to wait for someone to unlock the front door to let us in, not welcoming. No one about when we checked out. Would have been happy to pay more if the hotel was updated. Location good.

The owners are nice people but the hotel badly needs some maintenance. Pity it has gone down!

Not very well maintained, scruffy appearance, 2 pieces of toilet paper in the toilet, I will not visit here again.
