There are a number of things to share about my experience within M&S. But I doubt it will all be read and givem feed back on. There is probably much more than what I put here.I had been there for 10 years, other companies give a wage increase along with extra holiday time. We get an electronically signed card saying "well done and thank you" and maybe a tiny pin badge, my thumb nail is bigger than it, and a couple more days holidayMore consideration of the employees in the warehouse, better treatment of them and that the place severely needs to get rid of BIG reps and get in an actual union.Favouritism is still an issue, with some colleagues being regarded more than others. When the bonus was taken away to give a pay increase, that was obviously to claim to pay more, when we end up only slightly above minimum wage increases each April. You clearly don't value the biggest investment to the business, which is the employees. No increase to pay for staff working Christmas eve, a time limit before pay increase for overtime, which is disgusting as any time over your shift time is overtime. Store staff get time and half or something similar, why don't warehouse staff? You don't even give a Christmas bonus. You require use of holiday time to take Christmas day and boxing day off... same with when there is system down time. Those are all company decisions, yet you punish the workers because of those decisions.Listening to and responding to those doing all the work and who are keeping the business moving, and no I am not talking about the office workers, would be a huge boost instead of them feeling repeatedly stabbed in the back.More consideration to disabled and elderly staff would be great. Automatic doors would be amazing, all the warehouse doors are heavy and pulling or pushing the doors open can be possible to someone to fall as they do so, I know this cause I use crutches and have nearly fallen through doors many times. Too many employees don't show consideration to others by helping hold the doors for people.Car park needs sorting, disabled spaces just get further and further from the disabled gate. Car share spaces opposite the disabled ones could be altered and designated for disabled, with the further away disabled spaces.being used for car share or just normal spaces. The training in this place needs to be looked into and that includes with people skills as it feels that some team managers are just looking down on staff, some have really unpleasant attitudes and, usually, those same teams managers have their "favourite colleagues" who get to avoid doing certain things and even just get away with doing very little.Keeping an eye on some team managers, and colleagues, who go for repeated smoke breaks during shift would make sense. I can name one or 2 but I'm sure there are more than that. Some companies pay for colleague's breaks, no reason M&S can't do the same.Big reason for me leaving, is they essentially pushed myself and other staff into doing so. Where some staff had a suitable rota for them, the company decided "there's too many and we need to cut them down". They say they would talk with staff to come to a good compromise, yet do nothing of the sort and it comes down to you having 2 or maybe 3 options with one of them is leave.Information can be passed to head office, but you won't hear about it.

Awful! I needed to return a parcel that was left on my doorstep but that wasn't addressed to me and, over 3 phone calls, I didn't manage to speak to a person because their bot is not equipped for this kind of cases and didn't let me go through to an operator. Awful customer service. There should always be an option to get through to people if matters are not resolved!
