What an absolute fabulous store, with even better staff!My recent purchase of a TV was sublime! Upon collection the box had some of the foam showing out of the bottom. Jane kindly offered to undo and examine the TV for defects. Its a 58" TV, so that is not an easy task. Jane treated the TV with her upmost care. All was good upon examination, again Jane and her colleague (sadly did not get their name) placed the TV back in the box with care.Nothing was too much trouble for Jane and her colleague. Jane grabbed the sack truck, popped on the high viz vest and offered to bring it down in the lift and also helped me load the TV in the car.Jane and her colleague are absolute diamonds.Thank you so much for a very pleasant shopping experience.

Generally an overall good experience, just remember if parking here you need to ask them to validate the parking as this car park is chargeable.

Worst Argos I have ever been to . Extremely poor customer services . Will not considering Argos for any purchases at all. Shame on you . Careless staff rude attitude.

Rude, item unavailable despite confirmation saying it is.No time to hang around arguing with rude youngsters at Argos about why my email has been delayed.Re ordered from Amazon for £10 less, I won?t be surprised when another branch closes and you?re looking for another job.Good luck!

The item I wanted wasn?t available at my local Argos so I ordered it to Hinckley. The lady that served me was pleasant and served me really quickly. There was also a man that worked there that had found one of those McDonald?s monopoly millions tickets for a free double cheese burger. He said that he doesn?t go to McDonald?s and offered me the ticket. I know it?s not a big deal and a cheese burger doesn?t cost too much but after a terrible day at work myself, the gesture from this staff member was hugely appreciated. Thank you for putting a smile on my face after a difficult day.

They never really have anything in store and if your forced to order online you can usually get it cheaper anywhere else. A few of the staff are nasty and incompetent... not a great place.

Why do they always try and push pointless insurance. Sometimes costs more than the cost of the product!! The employees always look so sad ?.

Unhelpful staff managed by a patronising and rude manager who has his own rules about returns despite checking with customer service online!Why a company would employ such incompetent managers who are very efficient at driving sales to the competition is Unfathomable!! I took my money to Curry's and had a very pleasant experience. Will finish payment on big purchase taken on Argos card and won't be shopping there again!!

Avoid. Very rude staff. I ordered a product online and received a message telling me my order was ready at the Hinkley store. It told me to go straight to the till labelled online order collection. When I got there, I saw someone being served at that till, so I queued behind and waited my turn. The customer left so I stepped forward. The girl on the till went off, walked past me a few times, ignored me and didn't comeback. I asked the manager if he could serve me as he had just served the person who came after me. He told me off for not waiting outside. He said he would serve me this time but next time would make me go outside. I told him that I was following the instruction and he replied, I know it says it up on the screen but its wrong. Then he was extremely cold. I left with such a bad experience and will no longer use Argos. Their attitude will help to end their high street presence.

Rude staff led by an even ruder manager (Matt). Very unprofessional in their manner, completely useless at their roles. Uninformed on products details and unwilling to offer any kind of customer service other than ?have you sent a message online in the Q&A section??So let me get this straight, I visit the shop to ask for help on a product and instead I?m instructed to ask for help online? Really? Funny thing is, I had done that already and got no reply after two days.Knowledge of products = 0Willingness to help = 0Customer service skills = 0

Argos is rubbish! Went to purchase a mobile phone, don't understand why some phones you have to order the day before, yet other phones are in stock, are the ones in stock the ones nobody wants!!! Surely they should have at least a couple of each in stock, not like they are storing large items, they even have cards for mobile phones in Sainsburys which you have to take to argos which they wouldn't have, shouldn't have to make two trips to get something as simple as a mobile phone!!! And they wonder why argos is loosing out to the Internet! I remember when you could go into argos and fill your slip in, pay for it, and get it there and then!!!! Come on argos... Move into the 21st century! Disappointed.

Went in to Argos Hinckley to arrange for delivery of an item to Newcastle. Unfortunately the computer system didn't like Newcastle postcodes. Mark and the team at the store went out of their way to try and find alternatives and assist with the purchase. It's easy to criticise but this team were customer focused and went above and beyond
