Had an appointment for an eye test, walked in, not greeted by anyone, waited 10 minutes past the appointment time, went to the back of the shop, lots of people waiting, wasn't sure what to do or where to go. Couldn't tell who was staff and who wasn't. Left. Poor service.

Fantastic experience! Had a contact lens check and sight test by Mimi followed by Julie helping me to pick out 2 pairs of glasses. Great super friendly service all round, so pleased I switched from Specsavers from whom I had no customer service at all!

Ordered my new reading glasses and they were delivered within the week in time for my holiday. Staff were so helpfull and the optician a delight, professional and helpfull explaining everything about my eye health along the way. Could not reccomend them highly enough.

Last visit we?ll have. Despite arriving early we were 35mins late being seen by the optician. When we did get seen, the appointment kept being interrupted by colleagues asking for something and the optician left the consultation repeatedly. After complaining they stayed for the duration of the examination.Once we finished we went to view glasses options and there were no staff. When staff were available they were interrupted by the systems not working. We had little advice on glasses options, and the range was very narrow.Clearly a staff shortage, the people in front of house are nice but they have too many customers. After years we won?t be returning.

Called in here and the service was fantastic. The gentleman fixed a pair of sunglasses for me that have been broken for over a year and he did a great job, was understanding of my younger children, did not make me wait long and was just a lovely chap.

I don't often write reviews, but I wanted to note that I had a great experience at the store today. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, and Zainab in particular went above and beyond during my appointment making a routine eye test a pleasant experience.

Excellent experience as usual. The staff were all very friendly and the opticians have to be praised for their patience with me. I kept asking them to repeat the testing lenses as I could not make a decision. Well done to the whole team.Julie the manager and the team at Vision Express at Hinckley is highly commendable. In spite of booking over a week before the appointed time and date, when I arrived I had to wait far too long before attention. The optician who served me was very pleasant and reassuring but the inordinate time between first arrival and assessment and then having to wait for the second part before examination. The whole process after arriving on time and leaving the premises was 1hr and 15 minutes. Disappointing.
