Why you should NEVER purchase from Argos in their words (a catalog retailer) because you LOSE most of your consumer rights that full retailers can offer you. Just purchased an Apple product and we did open it but within 24 hours of purchase we returned it because we found out it was going to be a discontinued line! Had we purchased this from anywhere else: John Lewis, Apple, etc they would have accepted the return. Argos have CLEARLY said we used it in 24 hours and therefore lose all our consumer rights! Lesson learnt, never purchase anything of high value again from ARGOS you are not fully covered!! Always purchase from a reputable retailer that you are fully protected. We are gutted Apple said they would have accepted the return and fully refunded us. Argos said they don?t care they sold us a discontinued line their policy is clear - MORE MONEY FOR THEM!!! ARGOS take NO RESPONSIBILITY and said take it up with Apple. THERE IS NO BENEFIT FROM PURCHASING FROM ARGOS AND THEY WILL TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY.

My recent experience at argos was disappointing due to the rude and unhelpful behaviour of the staff, specifically a gentleman with glasses working at the reception. His lack of politeness and incomplete responses made me feel unwelcome and left me with unanswered questions. This experience has made me reconsider future purchases at argos and has highlighted the importance of excellent customer service.

I had a wonderful shopping experience at Argos! The staff, especially Wendy, provided fast and friendly service. Wendy's helpfulness and efficiency made my visit a breeze. I'll definitely be returning to Argos for their top-notch service!

Best Argos in Leicester! Very helpful and friendly staff! Till can be a little busy, but I guess because I visited during Christmas time, it was just a little too much! But I'm not complaining :)

Horrible store. Doesn?t allow exchange even you only tested it for awhile. Wanted to refund my heater because after testing it it?s not warm. But they don?t allow. Please don?t come

Horrible staff. Told them that I would like to return a product but they made up their own policy stating that the catalog sticker was required and refused to return it. I was told to try to find the sticker and come back the next day to see if they could do anything else but was met with ?the manager made her decision yesterday that it couldn?t be returned?. They made me go out of my way to come back knowing that it wouldn?t be possible to return the item. Spoke to customer services on the phone and they suggested to return it to a different store. Went to the Argos store in Sainsbury?s on melton road where they assisted and helped me with my return. I asked about the requirement of the catalog sticker and the worker told me that the store can put a sticker on themselves which she did. If you need to go to an Argos store I would recommended the Melton road one. Very friendly staff and I was out of the store in 5 minutes.

AVOID ARGOS AT ALL COSTS!!!THEY DONT CARE ABOUT QUALITY OR PRODUCT ISSUES WITHIN THE WARRANTY PERIOD!!!Ridiculous. If you want to buy anything of good quality then Argos is not the right place for that.Especially if that said Item has a fault caused not by yourself and you bought extra 2 year product replacement insurance only for them to say"Sorry, you cannot return it without the original packaging."This is ridiculous! Nowhere does it say in the replacement insurance policy leaflet, which has the T&Cs, that you need the "original packaging" or any thing else apart from the faulty (Item) And the F##%in reciept for the insurance policy and product. Both of which I had.I threw away the box since it takes up space, Im not a hoarder and I never thought I'd ever bloody need it for a return.

Very rude unprofessional bunch of lies customer service.The manager of store is racist they rob people. they have no ethics,The deliberately refuse to give me refund I lodge formal complaint about them. Argos said we can't do anything its all up to store manager's discretion and store manager said to Argos don't send this customer to Belgrave Leicester branch. Complaint department said they can't do anything and customers are on the mercy of store manager'sown policy.I inform media and Leicester Mercury about their behaviour.They are untrained unprofessional rude and snorty racist lady with glasses purposely intervene to refuse my refund.I will not buy anything from Argos.

People working behind till busy chit-chatting while I was waiting listening to them. Upon engagement they still talking to each other while processing my order. Worst customer service seen so far. Could have given zero stars if possible for customer service. Worst customer service award goes to them.

I was told my delivery would come on Sunday but did not arrive, then the next day I got told on call that they will definitely deliver it today. BUT THEY HAVEN?T DELIVERED IT
