Argos put their PROFIT lines first and customers LAST!!! Why you should NEVER purchase from Argos in Gary?s (Argos Store Managers) words (a catalog retailer) because you LOSE most of your consumer rights that full retailers can offer you. Just purchased an Apple product and we did open it but within 24 hours of purchase we returned it because we found out it was going to be a discontinued line! Argos (Gary) said they don?t care they sold us a discontinued line their policy is clear - you opened it and used it so TOUGH YOU SHOULD HAVE DONE YOUR RESEARCH to find out it was going to be discontinued !!! ARGOS take NO RESPONSIBILITY and Gary said take it up with Apple. Apple have said had we purchased it from them they would have sorted this for us but it?s up to the Seller! THERE IS LITERALLY NO BENEFIT FROM PURCHASING FROM ARGOS AND THEY WILL TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY! Had we purchased this from anywhere else: John Lewis, Apple, etc they would have accepted the return. Gary from Argos have CLEARLY said we used it in 24 hours and therefore lose our consumer rights with Argos had we purchased it anywhere else we would have been fully covered! Lesson learnt, never purchase anything of high value again from ARGOS you are not fully covered!! I only bought it from Argos because I have family member that works there - NEVER AGAIN. Gary also said I am treading a fine line because I knew someone that worked there. Absolutely disgusting customer service. Always purchase from a reputable retailer to feel fully protected. We are gutted because Apple said they would have accepted the return and fully refunded us.

Hoover broke that was purchased from Argos. Black decker had to ring them ,then come Argos ,then even under all warranties and policies had to explain and provide , WORST ,I?d say the cherry on the cake was rude manner and approach of AERYN.Is not easy to leave me unsatisfied and upset, but she got me today. So Yh 1/5 stars earned today.Other staff members and other experiences were always good,or 95% I?d say when it was coming to some references, emails and poor connection,coverage in the store to be able to speed up the process.Saying hello and how can I help or being normal in general and guide or provide information ,do not cost you anything.

Went two weeks in a row now. The area where you place the items you have bought on the large scanning tills are always dirty. Also till came up with error. Assistant came to look at it and then suddenly disappeared to give Xmas present to a regular customer. She came back later and resolved the issue of my till but no apology for making me wait for a long time.

Great service on the help desk today. I was returning school clothes as the items were too small, I?d lost my receipt and I also told the lady I was over the 30 day return window. I was hoping I could exchange as without a receipt I thought I couldn?t get a refund, wasn?t even sure I?d be allowed to exchange. Lady was fab, she found my transaction via my nectar card and gave me a refund back onto my card. Was not expecting that, thank you ?

Sold me a non working phone, Told me i could not get a refund unless i "RING" samsung and get it fixed myself. I asked the manager at argos how im supposed to ring them from their non working phone.. he said i cant help you. Useless...

I went to order an electric blanket with an elderly at agros, she?s very disappointed the paper catalogs / books no longer available, she found it impossible to use the screen to search and order. Most of the electric blankets were out of stock, probably not agros? problem, as the energy crisis, everybody wants to get one!!!Service was really slow, considering only about 5 people were waiting. Staff was ok, but we didn?t feel welcome or had any kind of help or support.Positive points was the Argos area was very clean, waiting area with seats.As agros is in Sainsbury?s, there are plenty of car parking spaces including disabled parking spaces and parents with children ones.

I went to this argos branch to buy 4 items they had nothing in stock .I looked for alternatives again nothing in stock .What a waste of time.
