“Despite being very busy we didn’t have to queue for very long. Made to feel very welcome, COVID rules were clearly explained and we were shown to an obviously well cleaned table. Service was quick food was good but the bread served with the soup was disappointingly quite dry. Overall very good would recommend.”
“Usually a bargain to be had here, staff are on hand for any enquiries or help with locating things, prices increased slightly this is to accommodate for the cost of living most things are now £1.50+.I fully recommend the sandwiches not too expensive and always tasty!!!”
“Went here looking for stationary items. Left with wool, a couple of books, some fancy pens and other crafting bits and bobs. Everything is reasonably priced and there is a lot to choose from despite it being a relatively small store. Wheelchair accessible but the isles are quite narrow. A chair user may find it a bit of a squeeze during busy periods.”

“Great place to shop for most household products among other things. Staff are friendly and prices are good although in todays climate most things are more than a pound, but still good value.”
“Handily located right in the town centre. Large store with plenty of stock offering most things you'd expect. Only niggle was the lighting was off down one side of the shop making it a bit dark to see the shelves. I joked that they might be trying to save on electricity!”
“Great shop and great prices. However every time I go there it's always so rammed and you cant even look at something without being in the way. (Mainly top floor) I think they need re-organise some of the stuff. The little table near the cashier has all the new books which people would like to take time to look at, however there's always a big line of people waiting to pay.”
“Just want to say what great customer service CG gives. Had a nightmare time of late redundancy, deaths and virus....CG very kindly held on to item so could buyback. Staff are friendly yet professional and understanding. Massive thanks and wouldn’t go anywhere else.”
