I've had an excellent modern luxury experience with Jamie at Goldsmiths in the Highcross Leicester, from the initial meeting to getting the call has been a flawless experience. Jamie?s welcoming nature made me feel at ease and his expert knowledge is something that really got my attention, the professionalism of the jamie has been second to none.I will definitely keep my custom with jamie and wholeheartedly recommend anyone thinking of buying a timepiece that they sell to go and visit and experience this for yourselves. Good experience. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Told them why I was visiting and was referred to the correct person. Jamie was really helpful in selecting and ordering a new rubber strap. He was also very knowledgable when talking me through a selection of other watches. Refreshing to speak to someone with true knowledge and interest in the products they sell. Would be happy to visit again.

Just today at 1700 got a call from sasi offering me rose gold gmt root beer unfortunately the call came after 18 months told the lady not interested at all just waiting for the days ad will give discount or perhaps by directly from rolex in the future. Thanks for the call anyway

From the warm welcome, the brilliant showroom to the attentive staff, I was looked after from start to finish. I have had most contact with Jamie K, who is always professional, eager to help and is a pleasure to deal with. The showroom manager (I think) Gabriele is always charming and ensures a smooth running experience. I have made numerous purchases from Goldsmiths over the years and these guys are top notch

Unfortunately a bad experience for my son who went in to buy his first Cartier watch perhaps because he?s only 18 he wasn?t helped just a one word response from the female salesperson. I?ve never had a bad experience but it?s certainly put my son off from going back.

I popped in on a Saturday and saw Rolex Sub with a green bezel Just asked to try on. Was told abruptly that I need an appointment to try on Rolex watches. Was not even asked if I would like to wait, if I was I interested in any other brands.I purchased from WoS and Goldsmiths in the past. But now I realise why people go to the grey market or just refuse to buy Rolex watches from AD. It is like they are doing us a favour.It will probably not even make a difference to this store but I will never purchase I watch from here.A simple response could have been, ?we usually ask our customers to make an appointment for Saturday as it one of our busier days. We do not have any appointments today but would you like to make one in the coming weeks.?Simple courtesy. People are spending circa £8k for a watch, in economic down turn. Just dismissing someone so quickly is ridiculous.Makes you appreciate the customer service at other stores. If you want buy a watch I would suggest WoS in Birmingham. The team there are professional and super nice.

From the moment I walked through the door to the moment I left with my new wristwatch , the staff at Goldsmiths went above and beyond toensure my satisfaction.

A really lovely shop, I had the best experience when looking to buy a tissot watch. The staff are really helpful and know their stuff, Clare went out of her way to even adjust a watch I didn't even buy from here. Just goes to show going that extra mile means a lot to a customers experience.

What an absolute joke of a store. My husband rang to enquire about a watch which I was overhearing as it was on speakerphone. The tone and assumption made by this sales lady Claire is unbelievable. She assumed the Rolex model my husband wanted was a standard one not taking into account he wanted a different model. This lady?s attitude towards my husband was horrendous as she kept on making assumptions and accusations. To top it off she accused him of calling earlier and that she had spoken to him before. No he didn?t speak to you before. He rang to find out a price only on a selected model only before he travelled to the store. I will be putting this all over social media Claire. You?re a disgrace to talk to my husband the way you did with your assumptions. Avoid this sales person or better yet, my advice is to avoid this store. There are other authorised dealers in Leicester. She is a disgrace to your store. Here is the first of many reviews on social media Claire. Thank you for the horrendous service provided by you and thank you to goldsmiths for employing Claire who must be employee of the month with her tele sales.
