“I love this place. I always end up buying something I don't need but hey its great value for money. I always take a little walk round the motoring section and there is a great variety of useful items.”

“I always go to the Narborough road branch in Leicester as it's the nearest to us. Queues aren't queues aren't too long, Staff aren't always good, And it's always a pleasure to do shopping there”

“The 'new' store update is brilliant!! So much more room in the first aisle; love the self checkouts and lots of room when queueing at the tills instead of going down into the aisles.A much needed improvement!”

“I want to say HUGE thank you to the NISA Local Evington Village Community Store. They made my first order & delivery super easy. The quality & range of the foods delivered is outstanding. I am especially fond of Hambleton bread & advocados but my partner David celebrates the lamb! I wholeheartedly recommend this lifesaving service.”

“We are regulars here. Good quality produce. Just keep an eye on the best before dates as some refrigerated produce can get mixed up. Freezer section is good and they have some good offers on the occasional mainstream product.Cheeses are good so are their tapas meats. 31 days matured Angus steaks are some of the best we've tried, better than M&S”

“Love Lidl, obsessed with their iced cappuccino, some of the most welcoming and friendly staff I've known, me and my partner always go here when we are visiting because they have the best value for money and a great selection. The only things I will say is that meal deal type stuff tends to take a while to restock and the shavers here are.a little average, but that's a very small drop in the pool for all the good things the store offers, definitely still my number one recommended store”

“Great shop for finding the interesting, you can always discover something new & of great quality. Do remember that if you find something you really fancy then buy it now because it may not be available on your next visit or even ever again.”

“This shop is great! The staff are relaxed and friendly and, although there is not the most varied range of stock, they have lots of staples and treats at some of the best value prices to be found! Highly recommended!”

“Called in for a few groceries and while there picked up 4 jam doughnuts , when I opened the bag I noticed the sell by or best before date had been penned in on a sticker note, endless to say they were a bit on the dry side so look at the label before you purchase in this shop.☹️”

“We visited the Coop, The End of Dog and Gun Lane, Whetstone, this morning. We wanted to buy some flowers for our daughter on her Mother's day. We were served by a gentleman called Phil. He was so nice, asked if they were a gift and offered to remove the price label, which he did with such care, it was so helpful. After we paid he wished us a happy mother's day. He didn't have to do either of these, but it really made our day - in this world of stress and worry, it's just so lovely when you encounter a pleasant word and a friendly smile - thank you Phil!”

“I prefer this one to the one a few doors down on Mill Lane as it has more variety and is usually less busy. It's a little bit untidy near the entrance but doesn't affect the function of the shop.”

4.2Good42 Reviews

“As corner shops go, this one deserves 5 stars. So well looked after, plus extra services for parcels AND some really good food including Samosas and freshly made sandwich rolls. Staff are very well presented, professional and friendly.”

“One staff member kept asking me if I wanted to listen to his dirty wobblers? Not sure what that meant, just wanted to buy some milk. Overall a great experience ?”

“Just like almost all the aldi's in the country this one is the same. You go in for something specific or just a weekly shop. And every time you go in store you still have to walk around the middle aisle to see what's on offer. It has a self check out in the store as well but this is usually closed in the mornings and evenings.”

4.1Good58 Reviews

“I went in with my mobility scooter. The aisles are a little narrow and it was a struggle to get around. The free same day delivery option if you spend over £25 is a great help. Good range of fresh and frozen produce on offer. Staff look a little harassed.”

“Very good store for a village Smith and the prices are the same as at the shops In the towns and very easy to get to and quite reasonable and very clean and tired thank you very much”

4.2Good29 Reviews

“Good shop, great selection. I took one star off, for the checkout service. Usually only one person serving, and this can have a effect on how long you have to wait. To pay for your food, otherwise the staff are friendly and approachable.”

4.1Good49 Reviews

“Good corner shop with almost everything we need. very convenient. We've been using them for 27years, even before these guys took over the old "Paul's Shop" Very nice friendly staff. But prices are quite high, even for a local shop. Car parking spaces available. Great for Evri parcels, it's so convenient we use it so much. It's a shame they don't open until 10pm as a local it would be good for us.”

4.3Superb20 Reviews

“Nice local store, not the cheapest but good selection of products. Friendliness of staff can be hit and miss depending on who serves you, parking, wheelchair friendly.”

“Large store, has alot of items at good prices. I shop at Aldi weekly and most times they have the basic grocery items I need. Can't go wrong with Aldi in my opinion.”

4Good66 Reviews

“This a very large store with plenty of parking. The store staff are most helpful and extremely polite. Of all the various supermarkets we go to this one is the best. It is unfortunate that where we live this store is visited by us infrequently which is a shame.”
