Absolutely useless. Their google timing states 9am-1:15pm and 1:45pm-5pm. In store they have a sign saying 9am-5pm. I got there at 12:31 and the bloke put up a sign saying closed from 12:30-1:30. When asked if I could return an Amazon parcel he goes he?s closed now come back after 1:30pm? Why have the timings on Google if you don?t stick to it!? He saw the Amazon parcel when I asked and said nothing but that. When I come back later he says the parcel is too big and he doesn?t have the right size bag. Not the first time I?ve had a bad experience but I?ve let it go. Won?t be going here again unless it?s an absolute emergency. Better off travelling further.

Friendly cashier. It would be good if the post office had another employee for busy periods though

It has become beyond a joke trying to use these services. Now closed on Saturdays and at lunch times. How is anyone with a full time job meant to use the place. Not fit for purpose and when it is open they have hardly any staff. The post office contract should be given to someone who actually wants to run it properly.

Usually long ques most of the day and only ever seen one person working the counter even when you see more then one employee. You would think when the que is really big the other person could open another window and help to get the que down. Don't try and do something with limited time as you will be waiting a while. But staff are helpful once you managed to get served.

It's such a shame that our community post office is such an absolute mess. There's only one person serving now and I've never seen him not on a phone call which is ironic as he doesn't seem like the chatty type ? Having only one person makes even short queues take absolutely ages, and that's if you're even lucky enough to go in when it happens to be open which is like a game of Russian Roulette - with only one person working there it closes for 30 mins over lunch time, and toilet breaks which isn't advertised on Google. Sometimes you'll get there way ahead of closing, wait for 15 mins and then be told to leave because you won't be served. And NOW they are closed on Saturday. So good luck if you work in the week and don't drive. You now don't have a post office service you can use unless you take a day off work.

Never open at lunch times. You would expect them to have lunch time coverCustomer service is rubbish the guy behind the counter doesn?t look Like he wants to be there and many times when I have been in he is serving customers while making personal calls on his mobile.

Not very helpful for anything with a smidgen of difficulty, interprets rules and guidance however it suits and lacks any initiative of ability to provide essential customer advice.Generally my experience has been ok, however I've never really done much else there except post really simple stuff that I've already pre-paid for. So, I am furious about my latest experience and really call into question any practical intelligence and knowledge the guy behind the counter has.I went there to send a parcel that was not accepted due to it being overweight, and was given advice that sent me on wild goose chase all over Leicester to no avail. Consequently I went online to get a quote for a courier, assuming they could take it, only to find clarity on the matter: that as the man said, Royal Mail don't accept parcels over the stated weight, but Parcelforce do, and that they actually offer a Post Office to recipient service, and clearly state that not only is THAT post office a designated collection point but also that my parcel easily falls under the weight limit that Parcelforce caters for.Not one shred of this information was provided by the man behind the counter, no options given, just erroneous advice. Upon returning with my labelled parcel in hand ready to send, the same member of staff tried to refuse the parcel on the same grounds as last time, and when I presented him with the information provided by Parcelforce, he continued to give me his own 2 cents, with hypothetical reasons for not being able to take it, saying things like, "but if the guy picking it up is skinny he won't be able to take it". Eventually he reluctantly accepted my right to service and allowed me to carry my parcel in and leave it there for collection. To top it off, I now realise, after all that I walked out the shop and he didn't even offer to produce a receipt of collection of the item, which I actually need to supply for by own documentation. I shall be going back, requesting my receipt and having a word.
