Was required to register a death of a Santander account holder and was treated with the utmost respect and kindness by the staff who were so willing to help and assist in any way they could. They gave much helpful advice for which we are so grateful. The closing of the account was completed with the minimum of fuss. We are not Santander account holders. Again, many thanks for fantastic service

What's the point giving out the phone number to contact the bank and having to hold on for over 15mins and still no one picks up. The person was probably having a doughnut and a cup of tea and working from home. Useless customer services. Ant and dec your advertising a fraud service.

I was at the bank today, I went to deposit money and the cashier didn't make the transaction for me and the money stayed inside the machine, the employees told me that only Monday I will have the money in the account.... In terms of attention, the gentleman at the door is very arrogant talking and doesn't solve problems...

I went to deposit money and the machine ended up not taking my money but swallowed my card instead. This was on a Saturday it was extremely busy with two cashier points open. I waited in the queue for 35mins + just for the stupid lady(brown skinned ) with brown hair to have a flipping attitude. Explained the situation and she asked for my id, luckily l had one. She then told me she cant retrieve the card and has to order me one. But she could still deposit the money regardless. She then asked for my address told her and has the nerve to say unfortunately she can't do the deposit because thats not the address on the system. Bare in mind she has my id in hand. To make matters worse the address l was telling her was the one on the account. Even opened my mobile banking to show her.All l can say this women was triggered that a young black lady was handing a lot of cash. Like just do your job!!!

As a student i went there to change my account to a student account. All of the staff seemed very egotistical and that they are better than others while not having a clue on what i had to do to change my account. i waited in line and the cashier told me to go online, online saying to go in bank i said this to him and he said yea i don't know ask my colleague. When i asked his colleague he gave me some generic advise and didn't know what i had to do. i ended up calling multiple people and visited the belgrave bank aswell where the staff told me i could open another account online which was false and was said to just get rid of me. overall im not upset just dissapointed at how they treat their existing customers.

I had a cheque to pay in, while standing in the queue a assistant called Talvin told me I could pay the cheque in via an inside ATM. He showed me how to do it and was very help. Well done Talvin great customer service, thank you.

I had an appointment yesterday with Pritesh and he was fantastic, he was super friendly and helpful. I had my 1 year old daughter with me and he was very good with her and very patient during the appointment. Thank you Pritesh, you?re a star!

Great service when you're in there, scared to use the cashpoints outdoors. Opening hours absolutely awful if you work full time.

Disgraceful went to Santander Leicester Haymarket clock tower branch with my mum to help her move some money from her Santander account to her lloyds account we both had full id, we were kept there like prisoners for over two and a half hours in a tiny little room not allowed to go to an appointment we had during this time.A policeman then arrived to question us, he very quickly realised there was nothing wrong at all, my mum is 75 years old she was very distressed by the ordeal, and was not even offered a drink of water during this long period of time, the horrible person that dealt with us said the security team called the police, but we are sure it was him, he did not even say sorry after the event.My mum started a switch away from this bank as soon as we got home and we are taking legal action agaist them.The manager of the branch who was not in on the day of the incident has not even called my mum to say sorry or ask if she is ok. AVOID SANTANDER AT ALL COST.
